The days following thereafter were filled with nightmares and delusion. Every day, she would see the same dream and she also lost some weight at a fast pace. Her school friends who did not know what was going around invited her out. Han Ji Soo had become so weak and thin that taking a few steps was a huge obstacle. Against all odds she decided to see her friends and get some fresh air. "Oh My God, what is wrong with you? Why have you lost so much weight? Ji Soo what is going on?", asked her friend Kang Mira. Ji Soo looked at her and said, "because I can't sleep or eat properly". Kang Mira and the rest could not understand what she wanted to say but all they could see was something was seriously wrong with her. In order to not make things awkward her other friend started discussing about other topics. They ordered their chef's special but in such a cheerful environment Ji Soo and Kang Mira were the only ones who were quiet.
As soon as the food was placed on the table Ji Soo excused herself. Her other friends didn't pay much attention to her as they were engrossed in their conversation except for Kang Mira who was observing her actions. Out of nowhere Ji Soo starts getting fits. Her body and hands twist in a weird angle and foam comes out from her mouth. All of them panic at the sight and out of desperation dial 119. The emergency team reaches on time, and they take Ji Soo who fell unconscious. Kang Mira goes together with the team and calls her grandmother. The phone call was received but the voice on the other end sounded very gibberish. She suddenly realized that her grandmother had passed away. However, she couldn't ponder on it much because the next second Ji Soo started having a panic attack. "Hurry, this lady here needs urgent medical attention", said the medical team. Kang Mira took Ji Soo's phone and dialed the first number and luckily it was her mother who answered the call. "Which hospital, I'll be there right now", said her mother who continued to pray to the heavens to help her child.
She was taken to the emergency ward, but her condition had again stabilized. The emergency team were baffled as they couldn't understand what was going on, but they still advised to keep her under observation. "Where is she?", her mother with a disheveled appearance asked Kang Mira. She felt sorry for the middle-aged woman, but she was equally confused with what she had witnessed. "She is much better aunty, please don't worry too much", she consoled. "Thank you, Lord", she thanked the heavens for her daughter's recovery. "Aunty, can I suggest something to you?", asked Mi-Rae. She belonged to the family of Shamans. Ji Soo's mother who was in her own world said, "yes, what is it?". After confirming that she could continue. Mi-Rae slowly began, "Ji Soo's condition doesn't seem to look like it can be better with the help of medicine. I mean it does look like one on the surface, but it is not so". Upon hearing this Ji Soo's mother was dumbfounded. "Aunty please listen to my advice for once, let my grandfather help her. She had suffered from the same before when she was young and grandfather was the one who had helped her then as well, so please", begged Mi-Rae".
Ji Soo's mother thought for a while and said, "if what you say is true then I will allow it but are you sure that he will be able to help us this time as well?", she broke down.
