Chapter 100 - End

On the sunlit shore, a young girl with black pigtails wandered, tugging a rolling suitcase patterned in stark black and white. Her black heels clicked together in a playful rhythm as she paused by the water's edge. Adjusting her spectacles, she leaned against the suitcase, inhaling the crisp sea air before settling atop it, her black frilled skirt brushing against her thighs. Her legs dangled as she played with a mysterious voice recorder in hand, armed with treasures from history long past.

Clicking her heels again, she tossed the recorder in the sand and kneeled down, gazing toward the ground with a playful smile.

"Ahh, what a breeze!" She says to you. Humming, she places her palm over her eyes to shield the sun's wake. "It's been a while since I've experienced fresh air."

Red streaks in darkness suddenly gathered in the sky from a distance, startling her. Although she didn't react much more than that; she smiled, believing nature was about to run its natural course. She stood back up, placing her arms together in thought.

"How long has it been since she worked on the book?" The mysterious girl asks from you. She placed her fingers below her chin before humming a melodic tone of soothing softness. "So the huntress fell, with her heart's desire never wavering. It was fate, wasn't it?"

She stood up and pressed her black gloved hands against her cheeks. She joyously pumped her fists forward, puffing her cheeks momentarily to give herself energy and courage to speak to you.

"And so ends the tale of the fabled Desir and Envie," She whispered to you. "What a shame. Really, I seriously miss those days where I was able to visit the museum to watch it all unfold with my very eyes. Funny how She never noticed me when I was there. Hmm."

Gazing at the sky, she sighed.

"Thank you for reading this book," She says with a hopeful stare upon you. "I'll be seeing you again soon! I hope you'll stay. There's plenty of other things to think about in that timespan, so don't get distracted! You promise?"

Clicking her heels, she shifted her briefcase before she stares at you. Her dangling earrings gleam in the sun, and her bangs reminiscent of the Huntress flow in the breeze.

"May we meet again. And when we do..."

She winks at you, pursing her lips together for a light tease.

"Let's go for a swim, together!"
