Cheating in chess is inherently disgraceful.
But Han Caldwell's actions did not elicit dissatisfaction from those around him; even the involved party, Prescott Leopold, felt no surprise.
"When did this occur?" Prescott Leopold asked calmly.
"While you were contemplating and sparring with Wutian," Han Caldwell replied smilingly.
"This particular piece isn't conspicuous. You could say before you actually made a killer move, or rather, before you cheated, its role could be both significant and insignificant."
Prescott Leopold reached out and gently touched the crushed powder.
"Precisely because it is inconspicuous, unnoticed by you, regarded as insignificant, that I've had this opening," Han Caldwell overturned the chessboard, scattering the pieces on the floor.
"You've lost. Even though I cheated."
He finished speaking and squinted his eyes slightly.
"Mr. Caldwell, would it be convenient to disclose who this white piece is?" Prescott Leopold understood well.
