Honchia climbed to Skinia's room looking for her and knocked on the door several times.
Skinia was tired from traveling. She heard the sound of a drum and was terrified, saying, "Akemi has come to take the golden ring."
Honchia kept knocking on the door, calling for her to open it. "I am your friend," she said.
Skinia opened the door, drowsiness on her face.
Honchia entered the room, closed the door, embraced her, and greeted her, saying, "How much I've missed you, my orphan girl."
She slapped her with the golden ring on her face. Blood dripped, and she said, "Come to me, come to me, girl, to drink your blood."
Honchia thought that Skinia had taken drugs and that her mind was disturbed. She tried to calm her by placing her hands over Skinia's eyes and holding them while saying, "I am not an orphan. I have my mother, and today you were lost and looking for her."
Honchia moved her hands across Skinia's face while screaming, "I am your friend, Honchia. Did you send my greetings to your charming mother?"
Skinia calmed down as if waking from a terrible dream. She raised her hands, and Honchia helped her stand. Skinia wiped her face, looked at Honchia, and laughed, saying, "Yesterday's enemy is my friend today."
Honchia noticed the golden ring, smiling and talking about the engagement. Skinia laughed sarcastically, saying, "He will take me on a picnic on the war plane."
Honchia laughed and told Skinia that he was the pilot, Shino.
It was time for lunch. The room's guard brought the food and placed it on the table.
Honchia told her friend Skinia that the military plane had landed, and Akemi was coming down from it, holding pilot Shino by the hand.
Skinia laughed sarcastically at her words and said that Akemi had separated from him; it was the day of farewell. "She will come to kiss my hand," she added.
