At Aunt Sugara's house, the battle between good and evil voices was fierce. Tunnels appeared under the aunt's door, and the evil voices separated into balls of fire, rolling down the underground tunnels, followed by the good voices.
The pilot, Shenmue, and his Special Forces were running through the underground tunnel, their feet sinking into the mud, which slowed their movement. Shenmue looked back and saw the flames approaching, shouting to his teammates, "Balls of fire rolling toward us! Come on, dip in the mud!" Fortunately, the fireballs went through another tunnel portal. Shenmue stood looking back and saw thick smoke, like a white cloud, heading toward them. Once again, he warned his companions not to panic—the fire was still coming.
The good voices passed over them, saying, "This is the way to the emperor's palace. We have to stop those voices; the palace will burn."
When the pilot felt calm, he stood up steadily and said to his comrades, "Get up."
His companions told him that they had heard strange voices passing by, saying, "Let's go to the palace." They asked him, "Did you hear this voice?"
"Yes, I heard it," Shenmue replied. "They are heading toward the emperor's palace. Let's follow them."
He asked his comrades, "Are they soldiers in a war, or are we in a military training camp?"
The pilot, Shenmue, was confused. "Why is all this happening? Did nuclear bombs fall? Because in the Memoirs of the Military Forces, when a nuclear war breaks out, everyone will run underground. I don't know what's happening above ground. Come on, guys, the palace is near."
When the blazing voices reached the king's underground chamber, the earth and stones seemed to boil as if a volcano were about to erupt. Then the good voices gathered behind the fire, congealed into snowballs, and rolled toward the blazing fire. When they touched it, the fire was extinguished, and a tunnel opened inside the room. Words and the image of the girl were engraved on its walls:
"We who have good voices are putting out the fire beneath the palace. We will return one day with the girl Akemi."
