Shenmue and his Special Forces reached the palace grounds while still underground. Walls of trees blocked their way until light appeared from the outer opening of the tunnel.
The guys shouted, "Shenmue, we've arrived!" The pilot and the Special Forces got out of the tunnel onto the Palace Square, and everyone lay on the ground, breathing in the fresh air.
The palace doors opened, and the pilot and his companions entered, walking along the red carpet. Shenmue led the way, with the guards following behind. The pilot stood on one of the palace pillars that the girl Kasha was holding onto, saying to his companions: "Maybe this pillar I'm holding is underground." He looked up and added, "We will not surrender; we will complete the path until we return to where we came from."
The guards' eyes scanned all directions, even the roof of the palace. They feared that soldiers might be stuck above, waiting for an opportunity to attack.
One of the guards asked the pilot, Shenmue, "Where are the palace soldiers? Are we in an abandoned mansion?"
The pilot approached the King's chair and sat on it. The Special Forces saluted. Shenmue said, "Beware of imitating voices. They may mimic us and attack each other. We must split into groups and check all the palace rooms."
The pilot went to the King's room and found it open. He heard the voice of a girl crying and shouting, "Oh my sister, come save us!"
Shenmue entered carefully. The two sisters were lying on the ground, crying. The pilot stood in front of them and asked them to get up. "You survived."
Amini told her sister, "Don't open your eyes; it might be evil voices trying to harm us."
"I am Shenmue. Hold my leg; you will see that I am human, not an evil voice."
Kasha grabbed the pilot, stood up, and opened her eyes while holding him. "Yes, it's you!" Her sister stood up and held him tightly, saying, "I want to get out of here and go back to our aunt's house."
Kasha asked him, "Did you come out of this tunnel? Look at the whirlpool at the tunnel's opening. Don't go near it; it will swallow you."
Shenmue replied, "I'm looking at it. It's just a tunnel, like a cave. Nothing dangerous inside."
Kasha said, "The king of the palace and his soldiers entered through here and never returned. He read the phrases written on the tunnel walls, and my sister's picture was engraved next to them."
The pilot approached the tunnel, read the sentence, and told her, "How beautiful is your sister, the owner of this palace. One day, we will be her soldiers in the palace."
