When we got closer we saw many things moving quickly into the city. They looked like drones, from the military of Ryualiax.
When we arrived two dragon people came up to us.
"Ez, we haven't seen you in forever! Who are they?" ????? said
"Guys this is Cassandra, Chris. Chris and Cass meet Akari, Ace, Maybell, Isabela, Staria, and Cyrus." Ezra said happily
"Well, follow us to your house, Ez," Chris said
"I'm pretty sure I know where I live Chris," Ezra said
We followed Chris anyway, Ezra was in shock looking around his hometown. I'm pretty sure many things have been relocated including his house because when Chris stopped at a normal-sized house Ezra looked confused and upset.
"Chris, why is my house here? If I remember correctly my house was all the way down in Summer lane not here in Dragonsden. What happened here," Ezra yelled
"Ez, calm down. Ryualiax isn't been the same for the last two years. Come inside and we'll explain everything." Cassandra said
We went inside the house and Cassandra started explaining.
"Ryualiax has been fighting a war with Reneenix, the kingdom of phoenixes. Many things got destroyed from all the combat and the people here haven't been the same. "What do you mean war between phoenixes and dragons, I thought they were Allies not enemies," Maybell said
Cassandra and Chris looked away and didn't say a word. They looked guilty as if they were the ones that caused it. Everyone was in total shock, and Ezra even started tearing up. But who can blame him his kingdom is at war with his best friend's kingdom.
After, a few minutes of dead silence I finally said something.
"Ok, enough of this silence. How about you guys start telling us what's going on about the whole war thing and how it started," I said breaking the silence
"Akari, you must understand it's a difficult subject to talk about. You shouldn't just tell them to start talking when they've already told a lot," Maybell said
"Maybell, did I ever ask for your opinion. Sorry, I "sigh" I didn't mean it that way," I apologized
Maybell looked clearly hurt, but still said it was fine and left the room. It was the first time I actually raised my voice at Maybell. We were like sisters that never fought, until now at least. After a few seconds Cass and Chris started saying some other things, but all of a sudden we heard a...
