Taking a step forward, what greeted Roxanne was not just the rocky stone road of the shrine but a whole new world. The scenery in front of her could only be described as breathtaking.
The land seemed utterly submerged in a sea of luminous clouds, causing Roxanne to feel as if she had, quite literally, stepped into heaven. A gentle, invigorating breeze whispered past, carrying with it the subtle, enchanting fragrance of ethereal blossoms that bloom only in this high atmosphere. Before her eyes, structures of immense beauty and grandeur emerged from the mist—palaces built of shimmering gold and deep-green jade, their complex, soaring roofs hinting at craftsmanship reserved only for the divine.
Floating islands, richly covered in verdant foliage and ancient, stylized trees, drifted placidly in the endless expanse of the sky. These isles were joined by elegant, luminous bridges that arced gracefully over the swirling, infinite clouds below. Majestic waterfalls tumbled from the edges of these celestial lands, dissolving into the very mists that enveloped the realm. The soft, iridescent light bathing the surroundings gave everything a profound, peaceful glow. The air was filled with a subtle, resonant harmony—the chorus of unseen divine beings and celestial music.
This is Takamagahara, the High Plain of Heaven, the sacred and sublime home to the kami (gods and goddesses) of the Shinto Pantheon.
Looking at the familiar place, Roxanne couldn't help but feel a bit nostalgic. It isn't her first time stepping into Takamagahara. In the past, she came here quite often due to some work and because of the nagging of a certain black-haired girl.
And speak of the goddess, and she shall appear…
"Well, I never expected you would personally come to welcome me, Amaterasu. " Roxanne said as she turned to the side where a black-haired beauty wearing a shrine miko outfit was standing.
"Well, for such an esteemed guest like Roxanne, of course, I have to come in person. " Amatarasu, with her ethereal voice, spoke as she began walking towards Roxanne. With each step she took, it seemed like the sun had become far brighter and more radiant.
"Ohh, you are making me blush with embarrassment, " Roxanne said very humbly, but her face kept that look, which practically screamed ' Keep the praises coming '.
Amatarasu chuckled at Roxanne's mischief. And like a very doting mother towards her daughter, she began to indulge her. And after 5 minutes of praises that would make one cringe, Amatarasu escorted the still relaxed and calm Roxanne towards her residence situated in the center of Takamegahara.
As the main goddess of the Shinto pantheon, Amatarasu's prestige in Takamegekahara is very great. She only needs to take a few steps on the street, and almost everyone would recognize her. So when these gods and goddesses saw that there was someone next to their chief goddess, all their attention and curiosity turned towards that person.
And when they looked at Roxanne, they were stunned. Although Roxanne didn't release any aura on her body and looked like a normal human being, many gods who had divinities like war and battle instinctively felt a sense of danger around her. In addition, what most caught their attention was Roxanne's extreme beauty.
As a hybrid who has the bloodlines of all three factions, Roxanne's charm stat could be said to be maxed out. This is why on the first day she came to school, she was directly awarded the title as the '3rd onee-sama.'
But even then, such a big reaction is abnormal amongst the gods who have been beautiful since birth. The real reason why they have such a reaction is due to a very special reason.

Of course, not all gods consider this and sometimes take the beauty of the physical body as true beauty. For example, the Greeks would sleep with every single beautiful woman, even if she was a human or a monster.
And Roxanne's soul could be said to be one of a kind. As a dragon god being, she had already transcended this world. So her soul could be said to be very unique in the eyes of these beings. Adding to the fact that her angel bloodline has an effect on enhancing her soul. Roxanne's soul could be said to be the most perfect soul in this world.
And this is like the epitome of beauty in the eyes of these gods. And so Roxanne became very popular at an alarming rate. And in addition, the place began to get more and more crowded as many other gods also came rushing in in order to gaze at Roxanne.
And Roxanne, who was now the center of attention, was not nervous at all. In fact, she quite likes all this attention. After all, at heart, she was still Lucifer. And all Lucifers want to be the center of attention.
'I should come from the front gate from now on, ' Roxanne thought to herself, and like a certain celebrity, she began to give flying kisses to her fans, instantly charming many gods.
And like that, Roxanne was accompanied by this very nice group of fans until she arrived at Amatarasu's residence. After that, under the reluctant gazes of the crowd, Roxanne entered Amatarasu's residence.
As the front door closed, Roxanne looked at her surroundings and marveled, "Wow, nice place you have here. This place is way better than your boring office. "
Hearing Roxanne's words, Amaterasu had a helpless smile as she retorted, " Well, an office is meant for a good work environment. So, unlike here, I only keep the decorations to a minimum. "
"Well, that's true, but I think you are keeping that office a bit too simple," Roxanne grumbled. In her previous visits, she usually directly teleports into Amatarasu's office, so she has a good understanding of how Amatarasu keeps her office.
And in Roxanne's view, Amatarasu's office is by far the simplest office she has ever seen. That office only has an office chair, a desk, and a small flower vase. If one didn't know any better, they would seriously suspect whether this was a prison cell.
"Well, enough of talking about my office." Seeing that she couldn't win the argument, Amaterasu decided to change the subject.
"So what made you give me a surprise visit? " she asked as she looked at Roxanne.
"Well, you could say I came to say hi since I was already in the neighborhood," Roxanne said with a shrug.
Amatarasu wore that same smile, but her words instantly made the atmosphere tense. "While I am flattered, we both know that reason is utter nonsense. Especially since you entered through the official entrance, when all the other times you've directly teleported to my office, and most of those times were business-related. What's more, you directly allowed those gods to see your soul. The usual Roxanne would never commit such a boring act just to garner a bit of popularity.
So, Roxanne, can you tell me the real reason why you decided to visit me in such a high-profile manner?"
Amatarasu spoke, her golden eye narrowing as she radiated her divine authority toward Roxanne. Right now, she wasn't the kind, old Amatarasu who was escorting Roxanne earlier; now she was Amaterasu Ōmikami, the Chief Goddess of the Shinto Pantheon, a being so strong that she is considered to be in the top five of the strongest beings.
