"I've watched this footage five times now, and I still can't figure out what happened."
Officer Jenny leaned back in her chair, releasing a frustrated sigh. Something didn't add up; Yuan and the two women with him had looked far too calm.
"The calm look on their faces isn't normal at all," she said. "Something so mysterious happened, and yet they remained perfectly calm."
"From this fact alone, it suggests they know exactly what happened to the three students," she continued. "Otherwise, their reaction to such a mysterious event would have been completely different."
Even with the limited evidence suggesting that Yuan and the two women accompanying him were somehow responsible for the incident, she couldn't simply detain Yuan.
"Hey, Officer Jenny, have you had a chance to look into the restaurant incident? The higher-ups are really keen on getting to the bottom of it and catching whoever's behind it as soon as possible."
