In the garden atop the city wall, Lu Chang'sheng looked at the figure slowly approaching, feeling a bit dazed for a moment.
The figure was an old man in a gray robe, with white hair and beard, a kindly face, yet eyes filled with wisdom after years of experience. He was the former hall master of The Cottage, who had adopted and taught Lu Chang'sheng in the Southern Region of the Wilderness Realm, before mysteriously disappearing.
Oddly enough, the old man never asked Lu Chang'sheng to be his apprentice.
To Lu Chang'sheng, he was even more than a master.
