Chapter nineteen:
It had been two years since the battle of Kamino. All that remained of the Republic was inside of the Naboo Royal Starship. They flew into hyper space, but none of them knew where they were going, only that they had to get far away from the Empire as they could. But they didn't know that they were headed towards danger of a different kind.
Cale Lestin was piloting the Naboo Royal Starship. And with every moment that passed, Cale Lestin could feel Empires presence grow weaker and weaker. He was real glad for the distance between the Republic and the Empire, they didn't have the numbers or the resources to face the Republic. But they did have something that the Empire did not have and that was hope. The destruction of the first Death Star had sparked a flame amongst the Republic.
Bail Organa sat in a chair behind them. And watched through the window as the stars seemed to fly towards them as they flew into hyper space. He liked flying, it helped to take his mind off things. And these days there was a lot on his mind, so he was grateful for times like this.
The Naboo Royal Starship came out of hyper space. But the sight was not empty space. Before then was a fleet of ships. Separatist ships, new Republic ships, salvaged Imperial ships, and even some Final Order ships.
Bail Organa gasped at the sight of so many different ships. He had never seen so many different ships all in one place. And he didn't know that this many ships from the Clone Wars was still operational. But even more breathtaking than the fleet, was the ship that was leading it.
It looked like a standard Lucrehulk Class Battle ship, but much bigger. And it was armed with far more weapons, than any Lucrehulk Class Battle ship that Bail Organa had ever seen.
"What should we do?" Said Cale Lestin. He had seen some of these ships buried deep within the sands of Tatooine, he never imagined that any such ships could still be operational.
"I have to get Padme." Replied Bail Organa.
