Yunfeng ran around for a while before finally stopping.
"You... you ass." Muchen panting softly, one hand resting protectively over his belly as he tried to catch his breath.
"You okay. Does anything hurt?" Yunfeng worriedly got close.
The moment he got close enough, Muchen reached out, grabbed his face, and pinched his cheek hard.
"You idiot."
"Ow…"
His lover tried to pull away, but Muchen held on for another second before finally letting go.
His eyes were still dark with worry as they moved over Yunfeng's face and then up to his black hair. Seeing his lover like this made his heart ache.
Yunfeng's powers were gone, his hair had lost its usual white color, and there was no telling how long the strange effect would last.
What if he hadn't been fast enough?
What if the zombie had managed to bite him?
Without his powers, Yunfeng could have died.
