The sun had just set behind the skyscrapers of New York City, casting long shadows over the streets below. In a dimly lit alleyway, three figures stood huddled together, their faces obscured by hooded jackets.
"Are we all clear on the plan?" said Milford, his voice low and steady.
"Yeah, we break into the museum, grab the diamond, and get out," said Nakia, a hint of excitement in her voice.
"Easy as pie," added Marlen with a chuckle.
"It's not going to be that simple," warned Milford. "The museum has state-of-the-art security systems, and the diamond is guarded day and night. We'll need to be precise and quick."
"Don't worry, I have everything under control," said Nakia, pulling out a blueprint of the museum from her bag. "I've been studying this place for weeks, and I know every nook and cranny."
"Good. Then let's go over it one more time," said Milford. "We'll enter through the air ducts, avoid the cameras and motion sensors, and make our way to the diamond. Then, we'll signal the getaway car and make a run for it."
"Sounds like a plan," said Marlen with a grin. "Let's do this."
