"Why are we taking a detour?"
One of the classmates asked.
The female classmate answered, "Because we're too embarrassed to face everyone!"
Kang Li smiled at this point and said, "I just happened to get a good score, you all don't need to make such a fuss."
"It's not us making a fuss, Kang Li—it's that you're genuinely amazing. Even though you were already a celebrity at our school, now you're even more famous!"
Wang Pan's smile was dazzling, as if she was the one graduating early and scoring jaw-droppingly excellent grades. Her voice was crisp and full of laughter: "Two majors and more than twenty courses, you finished them in just a year and a half, with full marks in every class. Who could stay calm hearing that? Am I right, guys?"
"Right!"
The classmates surrounding Kang Li, boys and girls alike, all shouted in unison.
