Miss Lily blurted out, "Half the blood in my son's veins comes from you."
Stunned for a moment, Jiang Boya replied coldly, "So what?"
"I beg you, please save Allen. He's just a child; he knows nothing, but he's sick now and needs a bone marrow match. I've tested myself and all my family members, but none of us are a match. You're my only hope!"
For her son Allen's sake, Miss Lily lowered herself completely.
"Why should I help you with this?"
Jiang Boya sneered, "Even if I forgot to lock the guest room door that night, the fact is you broke in without permission. And something like that happened while I was out of it—I've already been merciful not to hold you accountable. Now you suddenly show up, telling me you had my child and need my help to save him. Do you think I'm that easygoing?"
"Mr. Jiang, the child is innocent! I truly am sorry for that night, but I explained to you—I was set up by someone else too…"
