After leaving Big Brother Kang's hotpot restaurant, Captain Kang headed back to the compound.
"Did you talk things over with the eldest and his wife?"
Seeing Captain Kang come in, Cai Xiufen asked offhandedly.
"Yeah."
Captain Kang nodded.
"The eldest's wife didn't put on any airs, did she?"
Cai Xiufen asked again. It wasn't that she wanted to think poorly of her eldest daughter-in-law, but the hotpot place had good business, and even with hired help, whenever it's busy, there's no one to spare. Taking that into account, Cai Xiufen couldn't help but worry Elder sister-in-law Kang might have complaints.
"It's all good, she agreed right away and told us not to worry, said she and the eldest would take good care of the three kids."
