Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 – Bae-cation

[Fiona's POV]

With Selby's gathering gone, it was time for Heath to commit to his promise to take me on a vacation and he did.

"Vegas? I had always wanted to go to Vegas, how did you know?" I squealed happily. A man who does his homework is my type of man.

"I am close to your friends, plus there is so much that could happen in Vegas that could be good for me."

I rolled my eyes at that, since his conversations with Mr. Green had been a nuisance. "I am not marrying you in Vegas, Heath."

A beautiful laugh fills the room. He is so beautiful when he laughs, making you want to just smile at him.

"Come pack your bags, Vegas isn't going to explore itself," he says, and I rush to our bedroom, "Careful, you might fall."

This is the best gift ever, traveling the world. I had put that on hold since I started working. Each year, I always tell myself, it's not time yet.

But now, this feels right. Traveling more, maybe I should start to stop worrying about work, and travel more.

I couldn't stop buzzing with happiness. In the car, on the plane, Heath would just look at me and smile.

"Welcome to Vegas," I hear a whisper in my ear, and my eyes quickly jolt open. We are finally here.

"Have we arrived?"

Heath rolls his eyes and shakes his head, "I would love it if you got that excited for me."

"It was your idea to start with, so you are the one who made me this happy," I say with a giggle, "Come on, get the bags."

"Already handled that, you madam, do not have to hold any heavy stuff this whole vacation."

He kisses the back of my hand like a gentleman and directs me off the private jet. I kept giggling along.

He couldn't keep his hands off me the whole ride to our hotel, "I thought we were here to relax, Heath," I say, panting.

He smirked at me before devouring my lips again, "This is a form of relaxing," he mumbled. The driver presses something, and a cover rises between us and him.

"Welcome to Golden Heights, Mr. Duncan, oh…... sorry," the guy who just opened our car door shut it quickly before jumping back.

I buried my face in Heath's chest in shame, and Heath just kept laughing. "I am sorry, sir," the driver says, chuckling.

This is so embarrassing. I was caught getting eaten out in the limo. I am sure if the press sees this, they will have a field day.

"Get off me already," I grumble at the bemused Heath.

"Sorry," he says with a chuckle, "I didn't feel the cars stop, my bad."

"Wow, this is not a way to start my Vegas trip."

"You know what they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," the driver said, chuckling. I want to punch this person right now.

"You better not be seeing what is happening back here," Heath's mood quickly switches from giggly, happy man to a possessive man.

"I can't see anything from here, sir, I promise."

"No, cameras?"

"No cameras at all, I would have locked the doors if I knew you were busy," the man defended.

"Come on, let us leave already, we have already traumatized someone," I say, adjusting my clothes. Stop biting your lips, it is not happening."

He laughs again and adjusts his clothes. We get out of the car to meet the traumatized man's eyes. He is trying his best to act normally, but he is failing.

We thanked the driver for the ride, and someone is already taking our bags. "Welcome to Gold Heights, Mr. Duncan. My name is Charles Dolowitz."

"Good to meet you, Mr. Dolowitz," Heath says, shaking his hand.

"I am sorry for what you saw; it was not our intention," I say, embarrassed. He smiles at me before replying.

"It is okay, ma'am, I should not have opened the door," he said genuinely, "Let me show you to your rooms."

"Rooms? I am pretty sure I only requested one room, given this is my girlfriend."

And without a single shame, the manager looked at Heath and said, "Isn't this one of your usual ladies? You are going to get tired of her within two days; it is advisable to get different rooms."
