A Man who was seen with a spear stabbed deeply in his chest,surrounded by a lot of people attacking him,he was screaming with so much anger and pain.Although his anger was great but his pain was even greater at the pain of the betrayal.
He kept shouting why!! why!! why!!
The pain was so much and it kept on growing and growing and growing untill it reached a high point and then.....

A woman was heard shouting.
A young boy was seen sleeping in a room surrounded by his parents.
His face was twisted with pain,anger and sorrow.He jerked awake because of the voice, but his mouth was still muttering

The woman was staring at him worriedly.
"You were having that dream again"?
"Yes mom"
"Everything will be alright son","it's just a bad dream"
His father voiced out to calm him
Although Arthur doubted it, he had been having this dream ever since he failed to awaken at the age of 9, just like every other kids.
Arthur lived with his parents and little sister in coastview, a town of the western shattered continent known as "Evermore".
His parents were peak stage liquidefication Realm experts.Although this Realm was on the low side in the whole continent but in a small and remote town of coastview they were the strongest existence in the the town.

Arthur parents were part of the guardians of the village,they were always out hunting monsters in the wild, defending against bandits and robbers.

Awakening mean to be able sense the mana in the atmosphere and refine it into the core area.Everyone is expected to awaken at the age of 9, geniuses can even awaken more earlier than that with,some as early as 5 years.
There was a rumor that in Ever city the capital city of Evermore continent,there was a rarely seen genius that awakened at the age of 3.The whole continent was in shock,but the rumor was true. The genius was the second son of the city lord.
Arthur unfortunately could not awaken at the age of 9, although his parents tried their best to help him but everything proved futile.His condition is strange, according to the expert they consulted on Arthur's failed awakening,the expert said the mana was actively avoiding Arthur.Which in itself was preposterous considering his parents affinity with mana.Arthur's mother was known as the queen of mana, she was known to posses a Red Core.If not because she settled to have her family she would have broken through to the Qi River Realm all these while,his father is also in possession of the yellow core.
Having such talented prodigies has parents would have made him have a good affinity for mana,but fate always play a good joke on people.
On the other hand,his little sister Elizabeth (Liza for short),has been showing great promise in regards to mana, she is just five years and has been showing signs of awakening.Their parents always beam with joy because of her, although they felt a little disappointed at Arthur's failure in regards to mana but they consoled themselves with their daughter's prodigious achievement.
Although Arthur felt really bad at his own failure but he was really happy for his little sister, their family was a happy one.
When Arthur clocked 12, Tragedy strucked.
His parents were suddenly brought back home dead during one of their monster hunting expeditions, they ran into a peak beast warrior, which was equivalent to Qi River Realm experts, they died in battle.
