I sit on the bed with my head in my hands. I wish he never came with us. Compose yourself Li, everything is going to be okay, you're okay.I make my way downstairs and grab a piece of grilled steak and potatoes before sitting down.
"Is everything okay?" Charlotte asks. I glance over at Jason who was sitting by the pool with his plate on his lap chatting with Christian and Michael.
"Yeah nothing I can't handle " I sigh. Charlotte pats my back and shoots me a comforting smile. "So we were just talking about Simon's love life" Charlotte carries on. I look over at Simon who seems uncomfortable.
"I want some grand babies very soon Si" Eva laughs "Apparently he's got a girlfriend he didn't tell us about" Charlotte laughs "That's not what I said at all" he shakes his head. I bow my head loooking at my plate. Oh I didn't realise he had someone. All the sudden my palms were sweaty and my heart felt heavy. I mean why do I care? I've only just met the man, why I am feeling so disappointed? It's not like I had hopes he'd like me or something chances are he doesn't even see me like that.
"Mom said she knows someone you'd like and get on with. And You said you're not interested in other women which implies you have someone who you're interested in. Right mom?" Eva nods at Charlotte.
"Ok ok whatever you say sis" he chuckles I keep my eyes on my food. I've only known him for three days what did I think was going to happen. He has been flirting with me right? That's not in my head?
"Earth to Li" Charlotte laughs.
"What?"
"You down to go to the beach, hit the beach bar"
"Oh yeah sure" I look over at Simon his eyes on me while he sips his beer. I shift my gaze back to my plate again. I could barely eat I had so much on my mind.
"Let's play chicken fight!" Charlotte says bringing me back to reality.
"What are we twelve?" Simon says bluntly
"Simon come on, please? Jason's gone so we need you to play" she begs. Simon glances at me, our eyes meeting briefly.
"Fine, one game" he stands up and holds out his hand "Come" he orders
"I-i'm. Okay" I take his hand goosebumps erupting all over me. I try to ignore it, what was it about him that just made me so hot and clouded my mind. Every time he looked at me it's like I couldn't breathe and needed him to kiss me in order to breathe again. He gets into the water while I stand on the side waiting for him to come in front of me so I can climb on.
He turns his back to me, I look over and Charlotte was already on christians shoulder splashing water at Simon. He turns his head slightly and almost whispering "Climb on sweet girl" a smirk dancing on his lips. I instantly turn bright red. I throw my leg over and then the other.
"Comfy?" he asks tilting his head back, his head brushing between my thighs, I would be lying if I said I wasn't the slightest bit turned on. I look down, my hands gently laying on the side of his head touching his ears.
"Yep" I say shyly, his large hands grab my thigh squeezing them more than he should. I had butterflies, my throat dry I could barely concentrate on the game
"Ready Li?" Charlotte laughs. I clear my throat
"Yep all ready" Simon steps forward, me and Charlotte lock arms
"Come on Charlotte" Christian laughs
"Steady, push" Simon chuckles, I push and Charlotte falls into the water. I laugh "Yes we win" I look down at Simon with my hands in his hair. He tilts in head back into me again and sucks on his lower lips while his hand travel to my bum, gently caressing before letting me down into the water. I look at him my eyes unable to leave his, my face flushed. He looked like he is enjoying my reaction very much.
"Good one li" Charlotte laughs

After lunch we went to the beach, we all played volleyball and spent most our time at the beach bar talking and drinking it was the most fun I had in a very long time. Half way during the night I started feeling a bit sick, It must be the food I had for lunch.
"Char I'm going to back to the villa, I feel a bit crap"
"Oh no, I'll go back with you"
"No, no stay have fun I'll be fine"
"Okay babe text me when you get in"
"I will" I say and kiss her cheek "where is she going?" christian says sounding drunk
"She's not feeling well" Charlotte replies
As I am walking away from the bar I realise Jason is standing by a beach hut talking to some girls. He sees and walks my way. "where you going?" "Not like you give a shit, you've got half the beach entertaining you"
"Babe I'm just talking to people, enjoying my vacay!"
"Yes Jason I can see that, we can all see that"
"Argh not again, why have you always got something to say" before I have the chance to say anything, I catch Simon sitting on a beach chair nearby watching us. Great everyone is just witnessing this absolute disaster of a relationship. I am so embarrassed.
"I've got nothing to say Jason, I'm going to go back to the villa I'm not feeling well" I say my voice coming out small.
Once I got to the villa which was only a five minutes walk from where we were, I went straight to my room. I had such a bad headache and felt like puking. As soon as I laid down I was fast asleep.

I wake up to the sound of waves and warm air. I could smell salt and algae in the air. I turn beside me and to my surprise Jason isn't there. I fell asleep short after getting back in my room. I guess he must've slept in another room. I Brush my teeth, get ready and head downstairs. The villa seems very quiet.
I walk into the kitchen looking around. Eva is packing a basket.
"Morning"
"Oh good morning beautiful, how are you feeling? Char said you weren't feeling well yesterday?"
"Oh I think it was just the jet lag. I feel much better today"
"Good I'm glad"
"where's everyone?" I ask
"They went down to the beach, Charlotte suggested we let you sleep in for a bit"
"Ah" I nod,
"I'm going there now, let's walk together" she grins at me
"I'll come down soon if that's okay, I just want to have a coffee and wake up a bit more"
"Okay darling, I'll see you soon" she grabs the basket and heads out.
I make my coffee and head outside to the pool area. I stand frozen when I see a topless man sitting by the pool, I stare at the tattoos spreading from his arm onto half of his chest. I can't retreat back inside, he has already turn his gaze onto me.
"Morning" I sit on the chair across him.
"Morning, you okay?"
"I'm fine, nothing a coffee can't fix" I say bringing my cup to my lips. I catch him stretching out in the corner of my eyes.
"I agree"
"Why aren't you down at the beach with the others?" I ask
"I enjoy being by myself, I'll go down later"
"Ah okay. Simon about yesterday" I say changing the subject. "You don't have to explain, it's clear that your boyfriend is a dick" my jaw drops
"Erm what?" I say stunned
"I know it's not my business but I don't think he treats you well. No man if he loves his woman can stand to make her feel shit. Let alone treat her like she doesn't matter" he grunts
"I.. I know. I'm planning on ending things today. Our relationship has ended a long time ago, I don't even know why I stayed. I feel so stupid" I bow my head
"You're far from stupid and that's probably for the best you deserve someone who would love you unconditionally and treat you like the princess you are" he says softly
"Yeah, if you see him tell him I'm waiting" I joke
"I don't know you that well, but from what I have seen you're a nice girl, caring and beautiful" my eyes widen
"You help others" he says pointing at his hand
"Jason on the other hand is cocky, rude and arrogant" he says sipping his coffee.
"He never use to be like that" I sigh
"And you hoped he would change? That's why you stayed for so long?" I nod "Word of advice sweet girl the way a man treats you is how he feels about you in his heart and reflects on the man's character. Don't let his words fool you"
I bow my head, I was so embarrassed, I must seem like such an idiot allowing Jason to treats me like shit. I lower my face in my hands and rub my face.
"I meant what I said he really doesn't deserve you. Jason seems to know how to press your buttons. You deserve better than that, way better" He says placing his large hand on mine and squeezing tight before letting go. The feeling of his hand on mine made my heart race. Don't overthink this Li he's only being nice
"Thank you" I say softly
"No worries sweet girl" he blinks at me. I sighs
"Think I might go for a swim" I say smiling at him, it was morning but it was already so hot. I stand up letting my mesh dress slide off. I'm wearing a dark green bikini, which looked beautiful against my tanned skin.
I hear Simon clear his throat. I look behind me to find his eyes wandering all over my body. I instantly turn red. My heart was racing knowing that he is watching me. I jump into the pool and swim to the deep end looking back at Simon who had his elbows resting on his knees just watching me. I couldn't help but feel nervous.
I done a few laps in the pool, I could feel Simon's eyes on me which made me so nervous, every time I looked up he was there watching like a hawk. As I get out Simon grabs a towel and holds it out. "Turn around" his voice low, I turn around and he wraps it around me "Thanks" I say facing him. He hooks his finger under my chin lifting my head up, his thumb softly caressing my lower lip.
"Simon?" my murmur
"Yes sweet girl" I swallow. His eyes were serious and dark, I couldn't help my lips parting on their on. I wanted him to kiss me so bad. He pulls my lip crazing my teeth with his thumb.Every atom in my body was screaming kiss me.
"You want to go meet the others now?" he smiles at me
"Yeah we should" I swallow, he was towering over me, big and strong. I couldn't deny how attracted I was to him and how much I wanted him.
