More time to figure things out, more times to find out that this old freak was around… More time to solidify his beliefs. But alas, life was full of regrets. It was rare for a person to be able to have no regrets about missed opportunities. Although, it was also rare for the regret to be so tangible as Di Tou's, to the point where one had no chance of trying to go back and rectify their regrets.
And with a final wiggle… the last hair stitched itself into Di Tou's flesh, and he was frozen.
His eyes could still see, his mind could still think, his flesh could still feel, but he couldn't twitch or make a sound. Still as a statue, and yet still as pliable as ordinary flesh… How tragic was that?
