Hearing this attitude, Di Tou let out a vauge frown and continued staring at Huo Luo. As he had discovered, and even directly experienced with Ling Fu earlier, the ripples weren't omnipotent, especially with such a vauge condition as 'lying is prohibited.'
By adding a bunch of extra words at the end, Huo Luo's answer of accepting the war ending was now a bit harder to decipher… It could be understood as, "I'm only accepting it because I'm injured and its advantageous to me, but naturally I'll start the war again when I'm recovered." Or it could be understood more idealistically as, "As the loser of the war, I'll bow out. Of course I'm willing to accept peace."
…
Staring at Huo Luo, Di Tou thought for a moment before continuing the rest of the questions. "Did you use human sacrifices?"
Seemingly sensing what was going on, Huo Luo stared at Di Tou for a moment, seemingly hesitating about what to do, but in the end he shook his head, "I did not use Human Sacrifices."
