In his head there was a voice calling for separating… "Separate… Separate… Find who you are, determine the truth!"
To be honest, Di Tou wasn't very happy about this voice and quite wanted to squash it. What did hit mean to separate? A person was made up of their experiences, and his experiences just so happened to be special and manifold. If he were to try to split the two and act like the two were different people, that would be the least honest and truthful thing he could do.
But at the same time, Di Tou understood this voice wasn't wrong either. It wasn't like he actually had to split himself into two people, one of which existed in the world of cultivation and one of which existed before. What he needed to do was to actually cleanly differentiate and confirm who he was at this given moment. What world actually held a bigger grip on him, and to distinguish more clearly what exactly it was he believed in.
