He went silent for a moment. The father and son look at each other. And then Chadha sighed.
He could guess what Chayun is worried about.
"You out of all others would choose a path of survival. You could endure what others could not and you would be the saviour of this tribe" Chadha had a reason to choose Chayun.
Out of all the children he has, Chayun is someone he could trust with this tribe that he had loved for all of his life
This tribe he dedicated all of his life for….he could not trust it to others. Chayun have something that the other lacked.
Sense of responsibility to the tribesmen
It is not that his other sons did not have this attribute. But they are lacking. Their ambition and their personal desire come first.
Each of his sons has their own strength and their own flaws. But their flaws could break this tribe.
