Chapter 71 - Legend Nineteen Part Four - The Game of Protection, Or, (Are you fucking serious? Who is going to pay for that hole in the roof?!)

"Gotcha bitch!" Hana said, rolling up from her back and landing on her feet, holding the dragon in a head lock, trying her best to choke her out. It seemed easy enough for the huge demon at first, but dragons were deceptively strong for their size.

Jaycie grasped Hana's forearm and easily leaned down to flip the demon up and over her head, sending her huge body crashing through the dining room table below. Hand laid there on her back, nude and surprised as she stared up at the ex-maid dragon that stood over her. Jaycie stared down at her with a sharp scowl across her face.

"Nice try, demon! But if you're fire proof then I guess I'll just have to not ignite my breath and poison you instead." The dragon took a deep breath yet again, but before she could even fill her lungs, something struck the side of her head, causing her to cough a little puff of fire.

"Gah! What the fuck was that?!" she screamed, looking around the room furiously.

At the other end of the room, stood Luna, the white bunny maid, holding a mage rifle with a smoking barrel. Below her crouch her Master, Lucian the wolf with the barrel of her rifle resting on his shoulder.

"Well, looks like she spotted us darling. We might have to split up," Lucian said, keeping his position for the moment.

His bunny grinned.

"I think I can get one more off," she said, staring the furious dragon down through the lens of her scope.

Jaycie's attention immediately left Hana as she narrowed her red eyes at the bunny.

"She's gonna come right for us, we know she had no long range attacks," Lucian said in a low voice. Sure enough, with a single flap of her powerful wings, the dragon was sent dashing through the air across the room, right towards the pair.

"Yep, here she comes, take another shot and jump away," he advised her.

"I got it," she replied, letting the angry dragon get closer and closer before finally taking her shot. This time she struck the edge of Jaycie's wing causing her to veer slightly off course, but still close enough to be a threat.

The wolf rolled away while the bunny hopped into the air at the last moment to avoid the dragon girl who came rolling across the floor and crashed into the wall. She almost went right through it, but came stepping out of it just shortly after her crash landing.

Wood debris fell around her and if she were angry before it was nothing compared to the rage that was written across her face now. The side of her head and the edge of her wing were bleeding from where the mage rifle had struck, but only slightly like a small cut on the knee of a child.

"You're dead bitch..." she said in a low growl to Luna.

The bunny was currently standing on the dining room table with Hana climbing out of the hole in it, just behind her.

"I've that one before," Luna commented, with a little smile as if she were being polite to a guest. Jaycie grit her teeth and crouched down low before her clawed foot dug into the wood floor below. She shot forward, her powerful legs launching her into a sprint towards the table. She jumped, landing on the end of the long dining room table heading straight towards the bunny.

The dragon made it about half way down the table before a certain car girl came sprinting her way. Jaycie raised an eyebrow, but didn't pause for a second as she raced towards the bunny. This tiny cat girl was nothing but a slight inconvenience in her way and would easily be destroyed, she figured.

Though Quinn smiled wide as she sprinted right at the dragon confidently. Luna watched as she was unsure what the cat's plan was, but kept her rifle trained on the dragon all the while.

The pair grew closer and closer, the dragon readying one of her claws, prepared to strike. Just when it seemed like the pair would collide, Quinn dropped down at the last second into a slide across the table, her fur against the smooth wood making it all the easier.

Jaycie had already started the swing of her readied claw and clearly missed, but she looked down just in time to see the cat looking up at her with her tongue out as she slid past her and grabbed her ankle, causing the dragon to lose balance and go tumbling forward. She put her hands out to catch herself and to catch herself and looked up just in time to see the huge fist of King Barric Ironstorm collide with her face.

The impact was audible as it sent the red dragon flipping backwards through the air until she was now the one crashing through the dining room table.

The room was silent for a moment as the dragon laid hidden under a demolished pile of wood that was once the dining room table. A few of the party panted from their exertion and listened close for any sign of life. After a few moments the dust began to settle and there was still no sign of the dragon until a clawed hand reached up from the splintered pile of wood, grasping the edge of what table was left.

The red eyes of the dragon were glowing as she pulled herself from the destroyed section of table. She panted and pulled herself back up to her feet, atop the long dining room table. Jaycie looked about to see everyone staring at her still at the ready, but a few of them wore odd grins.

"What? What is this?! What are you all so smug about huh?! You think you've got me beat?!" Jaycie began to yell.

"Hiiii!" a little voice said from under her, cutting her little rant short.

The dragon looked around confused for a moment before looking down right in front of her. Standing almost half her height in front of her was Skippy the mouse maid.
