Even with the dark surroundings, Dylan tip-toed adeptly toward Lily's room. When he was going to knock on the door, he changed his mind. He did not want to wake Lily from her sleep.
He then proceeded toward the nursery. There was a dim light in the nursery to prevent the kids from waking up in the dark and getting scared. The light was also for the nanny's convenience.
Walking over to the cradle, Dylan only saw Emma.
He sat down and touched her tender little hand, then caressed her short hair. Emma just had her hair shaved last month.
Looking at her tiny body, Dylan felt nothing but love toward Emma.
A while later, Emma kicked her tiny legs and pouted. Dylan could not help but chuckle.
