"I swear I didn't see anything!" Dean seemed a little scared.
"You saw something, because you're looking at a half-naked Lola," Lola whispered into his ear, giving a slight hint of seduction, and licked his ear with her tongue.
"I'm like your brother, you don't want to do this," Dean froze.
"Say a word about this to anyone, and I will tell them you tried to rape me, guess who they're going to believe. Trust me, I won't feel a single bit of sympathy, because I hate you!" Lola warned.
Connor knocked at the door, calling Dean's name. The door slowly opened, revealing Dean looking like he'd swallowed something huge, and Lola sat there smiling at her brother. Connor smirked at his mischievous sister, patted Dean, then sighed. Dean asked to go see his mother, saying he was done with the house tour.
Connor tried to get Dean to tell him what happened in the study, but got no words out of the teenager. Walking down the stairs, Anita could tell something was wrong from the way her son walked down; Mr. and Mrs. Cole probably missed the troubled look on Dean's face. When they asked if Dean had enjoyed his house tour... he nodded. Connor gave a crooked smirk.
Ten minutes later, it was time for Anita and Dean to leave. Connor asked Dean if he'd like to go out with them; he shook his head.
"What happened?" Anita asked as she drove home.
"Nothing, máá," Dean responded, pinging on his phone.
"No, no, no, young man, I don't expect that attitude from you, drop the phone," Anita said, pulling over to a safe side of the road.
"It's just the Cole family, I don't think I can fit into that family."
"But you looked like you were having fun, D."
"Of course I was, máá, till I met Lola, Lilly's twin. First she called us perverts, then I caught her in the study room having sex with a dildo while some dude watched her through her phone, on a video call or something... and then she threatened to accuse me of rape when her brother came in, she acted so innocent. The whole family, máá... is spoiled," Dean frowned.
"Is that why you've refused to go out with Connor and his father after school tomorrow? D, I want you to be happy... and today, talking with the Coles, I feel you should give it some time, especially with Lola... she's kind of spoiled... and I think the family has just obviously accepted their fate," Anita said.
"Whatever, máá, she's just 14, and remember, at 14 I was hell too," Dean sighed.
"You were different, and you still are. I would have flogged her black and blue if she was my daughter," Anita growled.
"Just because you like the Coles doesn't mean I do... it's like switching to a new school for me, máá, that's the feeling, and the fact that I have a family apart from you, trying to fit into a marriage family, get it... I'm illegitimate," Dean shrugged, then went back to his phone.
"You're going out with them tomorrow, the men like you... and Lily likes you too, you didn't even notice her," Anita chipped in.
"But... if you still don't want anything to do with them by tomorrow, I won't pressure you any longer... I love you sha."
"Huh!" Dean smirked.

Getting home, Anita went straight into the house and signaled Jerry. Dean sighed, bounced onto the sofa, and planned to play his PS. In the bedroom, with Jerry seated on the bed, Anita gave her lover an unexplainable look, then laughed out a chuckle.
"Am I a bad mother?" she asked Jerry.
"What brings that on, babe?"
"I mean, if a girl tells you someone almost raped her, you'd take it seriously... but in a scenario where a guy tells you a girl accused him of rape... what would your reaction be?"
"Bae, you're not a bad mother, I know you'd do anything for him... and relax, most of the white kids don't get spanked, so it's more like normal for them to act abnormal... and call it 'psycho,'" Jerry scoffed.
"Arrgh... I thought of the day she'd tell my son 'your mama's so black she could be compared to coal.'"
"Oh dang, babe, no!... Black Americans do that, not white people... whites prefer words like 'pervert,' 'freak'... and they're in Africa, I'm sure they'd watch their mouths," Jerry said.
"I hope I'm not going wrong anywhere," Anita sighed.
Lola dropped into her swivel chair, pinging and chewing gum loudly enough that even her bubble bursts could be startling, her skirt zipped down low enough to reveal the butterfly tattoo a few inches from her belly button, giving little chuckles as she swiped up and down her phone.
"What did you do, Lola?" Lilly walked into the room.
"Ahn," Lola scoffed.
"I saw it in his eyes... he looked like he'd seen a demon or something."
"So what now, Lilly, you a god, a sorcerer?... or just trying to be a good person?" Lola narrowed her eyes and kept chewing.
"I know you, Lola..."
"No!... we know her," Connor said, joining them, shocking Lola for a second.
"Let me guess, mum and dad are here too... to scold me for speaking my mind?" Lola got up, popping a bubble in Lilly's face.
"Honey, we're supporting your father, as a family, trying so hard to make things right for him. Not everyone gets a chance to know when they'll die, and one day, you're going to wish you'd done something to help too," Adline chipped in.
"And who says I'm not supporting Dad? Dad's trying to get his act straight, you're trying to replace Jason, and you, Lilly and Connor, are just puppets," Lola said, flopping onto the bed.
"You're 14 years old, Lola, and you're getting out of hand. Besides that tattoo on your belly, which your mother and I don't support, you're just making things hard for us," Cole sighed, sitting beside Lola.
"Is this family gathering just for me?... you all just need to stop being hypocrites, everyone here is greedy except me for sure, he's a perv, Connor wants to impress Dad, Lilly's the good twin... and mom, he looks just like Jason, he reminds you of your son..."
"Lola, please," Lilly said, blinking with a cracked voice.
"Just leave me alone... take him on dates, for fun, to the cinema, have fun with him... if you're looking for me, I'll be in the study room... studying," Lola walked out.
"You are going with your father and your brother tomorrow... that's final!!! Do you hear me?!..." Adline ordered, breathing a bit faster, like it had taken a lot of strength to say that.
