Lu Zhenzhen shot a glance, practically on the verge of cursing her.
Mother Lu happened to be walking over, and Mr. Lu whispered, "Zhenzhen, your mom has had a cold for the past few days, went to the hospital for an IV, and took medicine. She only just got better today."
Lu Zhenzhen's heart skipped a beat, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Just a minor cold, your mom didn't let me say anything. We ran into Ah Zhe at the hospital; he was the one taking care, running back and forth. If he hadn't helped your mom in and out of the car, my old bones wouldn't have managed. He even went for a follow-up at the hospital this morning. Your mom insisted on having Ah Zhe stay for a meal, he couldn't refuse, but he privately asked me for the time you were coming home. He planned to leave before you got back, but I lied to him."
Deliberately pushed the time later.
That's how they ended up bumping into each other.
"Also, your mom doesn't know about you and Ah Zhe."
