Nan Jiaojiao stood up, turned around and couldn't find anyone, but then noticed the pink Little Bun down below.
The little girl was about seven or eight years old. As soon as she approached the black cat, it calmed down and eagerly jumped into her arms. The force was a bit much, and the little girl staggered back a couple of steps. After stabilizing the kitten, she gently stroked its back to soothe it.
Once the cat's meowing softened, the little girl came over.
"JieJie, did Xiao Hei scare you?"
"No..." Nan Jiaojiao felt a bit embarrassed, "Did I scare it?"
"It's okay, Xiao Hei is timid. This is its first time out, and usually, it only stays with me. Besides me, the person it has seen the most is my uncle. It's a bit shy but means no harm."
