Ye Wanting furrowed her brows, her lips more flushed than her face, and a bump was swelling at the corner of her mouth, "Be gentle, okay? Maybe I should do it myself?"
"No way, you won't do it properly by yourself, let me do it," her roommate said while applying the medicine, using a cotton swab to gently dab along the corner of her mouth, "Why didn't you say anything? It's been two days, it's so swollen, it's scary."
Ye Wanting pursed her lips, and a low chuckle squeezed out from the gaps, "I only realized I had a mouth ulcer halfway through eating, but I was craving it, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to take a few more bites. Who knew it would be this serious the next day? Before I... ow..."
"Where does it hurt?" her roommate asked quickly.
Ye Wanting said, "No, I mean before, I went to the pharmacy and bought that ointment, but it didn't really work."
