Nan Jiaojiao stood up and ran towards him.
"Slow down!"
Bo Yanching called out to her, but he himself moved quicker towards her, pulled her into his arms, hugged her briefly, then released her slightly to carefully look her over from head to toe, "Are you hurt anywhere?"
Nan Jiaojiao pointed to her head, "I hit it, passed out for a while, might become stupid."
Bo Yanching's tense face suddenly cracked, he snapped angrily, "Are you kidding?"
"No, I really hit my head."
Nan Jiaojiao lifted his hand to her head, gesturing a few times to find the right spot, letting his large palm press against her head, then slowly moved his fingers to the swollen lump on her forehead.
"Feel it, I'm not lying to you."
Whether she was lying or not was secondary, what mattered more to Bo Yanching was how painful the bump was. He exerted very light pressure, his hand didn't fully rest on her head, his palm slightly arched, gently brushing against the strands of her hair under her bun.
