Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

It has been a month since my reincarnation, and I have come to understand several things. Firstly, I am a newborn infant with a tail resembling that of the Saiyan race, and I possess an unusual strength and vitality for my age. My mother was not surprised by my condition, as she claims to have received a divine message in her dreams about certain abnormalities that would occur with me.

I have also come to realize that my new mother is a person of extreme faith, which became evident during my time spent with her. She strongly believes that I am an apostle of God, as this is her personal interpretation of the message she received. She has been instructed by God not to disclose this information to anyone else, so there is no need to worry about her revealing it.

[AN-As far as I know, there is no specific deity or god that the people of St. Kilda worshiped. The inhabitants of St. Kilda were traditionally Gaelic-speaking and were part of the larger Scottish culture, which was largely Christianized during the medieval period. Therefore, it is likely that they followed Christian traditions and worshipped the Christian God. However, given the remote location of the island and the unique culture of its people, it is possible that they developed their own beliefs and practices that were specific to St. Kilda.]

While I am grateful for the care and love provided by my new mother, I am also aware that my current situation is unique and may be challenging to navigate. But I have my powers to help me in my endeavors. I have also realized that I can now understand my mother's language, and she can understand my baby babbles due to the added bonus from God himself. I don't know to what extent this translation power goes, but I have a lot of time to find out. As I mentioned before, I have irregular strength compared to others my age due to the Saiyan bloodline, as I am already able to walk, which I was not able to do on my first day of birth.

As time passed, I continued to grow stronger and more aware of my powers. My mother became increasingly convinced that I was a messenger of God, and she dedicated her life to raising and nurturing me.

Enough of that now lets talk about this place i was born in, its a place from the medieval period the island of St. Kilda, located off the west coast of Scotland. The landscape of St Kilda is dominated by steep cliffs, jagged peaks, and a rocky coastline. Living conditions on St Kilda were harsh, with little arable land and frequent storms making it difficult to access food and other resources. The islanders relied heavily on the sea, and their diet consisted primarily of seabirds, fish, and potatoes. The houses on St Kilda were constructed from local materials, including stone and turf, and were often small and cramped.

[AN-hello my dear readers sorry for the late update as I was pondering on a potential birthplace for the MC. After all the research and consideration, I have decided St Kilda as the origin for the MC. It's a real place located in the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately 64 kilometers west of Scotland's Outer Hebrides. The archipelago has been uninhabited since 1930, after its last remaining inhabitants were evacuated to the Scottish mainland due to poor living conditions and lack of resources. Today, St Kilda is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a protected area, known for its unique landscape, wildlife, and cultural heritage. Visitors can access the islands by boat, but only with a permit and under strict regulations to protect the fragile ecosystem. So if you're thinking of starting a new life on St Kilda, just remember to pack your own food and water, and maybe a good book to pass the time. Or, you know, just stick to the mainland like a normal person.]

John POV

As I stand here, surrounded by the vast and rugged terrain of St. Kilda, I am struck by the sheer isolation of this place. It is easy to see why it has remained untouched by the outside world for so long. The towering cliffs and rough seas make it nearly impossible for ships to approach, and the lack of fertile land makes it difficult to sustain life. But despite the harsh living conditions, the people of St. Kilda have carved out a unique and resilient culture. Their way of life is closely intertwined with the wildlife and natural resources of the island, and their traditions and heritage have been passed down from generation to generation. As I walk through the rocky landscape, I am filled with a sense of awe and respect for the people who have called this place home for centuries.

As I catch my breath and take in the breathtaking view from atop the highest cliff, I can confidently say that the struggle was worth it. The beauty of St. Kilda is unparalleled, and it is clear why our ancestors chose to settle here. The stark contrast of the jagged coastline against the deep blue sea, the cacophony of seabirds nesting in the cliffs, and the wild winds that whip through the air all come together to create a truly unforgettable experience. It's no wonder that the people of St. Kilda were willing to endure the harsh living conditions to stay in this remarkable place. I can only hope that I, too, have inherited their resilience and determination to face whatever challenges lie ahead. And maybe, just maybe, I'll even learn to enjoy the taste of seabird soup.

[Picture of St Kilda]

[AN-The last sentence about "enjoying the taste of seabird soup" was likely meant as a humorous remark, as it is known that the people of St. Kilda relied heavily on seabirds as a food source due to the lack of other options on the island. The protagonist is acknowledging the challenges and difficulties faced by the people of St. Kilda and the extreme measures they took to survive, including eating seabirds. However, the line is also slightly sarcastic, as most people today would likely not find the idea of eating seabird soup particularly appealing. Anyway, I'm going to end it here ,thanks for reading and see you next time.]
