Archer sat on the balcony, watching a farmer tend the fields as the moonlight cast long shadows across the rolling landscape. Beside him, Demetra lounged with a bottle of dragon ale, her cheeks flushed from the potent drink. He turned to her, a playful smile tugging at his lips. ''Enjoying that ale, are you?''
''Of course handsome,'' she answered, smirking. ''This stuff is strong and hits the spot, not many Demon Sharks can get drunk.''
The two laughed as Demetra handed over the rest of the bottle. ''Here finish it off, Arch, let's see how you handle it.''
Following that, he took the offered drink and started downing it while the shark woman watched him, sparkling yellow eyes full of amusement as the last of the bottle entered his throat. He couldn't help but feel tipsy when he was finished. The liquid burned him, but it was nothing, thanks to being a dragon.
