Earth Land, Ishgar, Stella, Altair.
October 19, x791.
After a night of unconventional lovemaking with his wives, Alfonzo woke up in a tangle of limbs and hair. Seeing his four wives sleeping soundly, he could not help but smile to himself for a job well done.
"Hmm… What time is it?" Alfonzo asked himself while gently extracting his right arm from Ultear's grasp. "I still have work to do before we get out of Stella and head back home. *Sigh* I miss Amar'e, Bianca, and Calvin."
With his arm now free, Alfonzo used his [Electromagnetism Magic] to retrieve his lPhone from the nightstand without having to move. He also removed the [Silencing Barrier], something he forgot to do after last night's activity.
"Just before six in the morning, huh?" Alfonzo asked rhetorically. "Well, I guess that gives me enough time to make some breakfast before the others start showing up to hand over their proofs of subjugation."
Alfonzo spent the next few minutes untangling himself from Elicia's, Cana's, Ultear's, and Sun's arms and legs without waking them up. He then got out of bed, took a quick shower, and headed down to the hotel's kitchen.
Naturally, it did not take much convincing to let him use the kitchen, this was a Sixth Sense Hotel, after all. Then, after about forty-five minutes, Alfonzo returned to the room with breakfast for himself and his wives.
Elicia was the first to wake up, the scent of Alfonzo's cooking violently jolting her from her slumber. And because of all the calories she burned last night, her hungry tummy helped wake everyone else with its loud growl shortly afterwards.
"Fonzie~! What's for breakfast?" Elicia asked as she cheerfully bounced out of bed and made her way to the table where breakfast was placed and covered.
"Seering Bull steak, egg, and cheese sandwiches." Alfonzo replied calmly. "Just like Momma used to make."
Elicia's eyes lit up excitedly when she heard that. Though, she knew that Alfonzo was not talking about his mother from this life, Bianca. Rather, this dish was one of the few things his mother from his past life could make without it coming out different every time she cooked it.
Smiling at Elicia's enthusiasm, Alfonzo turned his attention to the bed where the other three were starting to stir.
"Alright, ladies." Alfonzo said with a smile. "It's time to get up. We're heading home today after I finish all the quest stuff with the client."
"Five more hours…" Ultear groaned. "My pussy's still sore. I don't' even know if I can walk today."
"mm~, that smells so good." Sun said while wiping the sleep from her eyes. "What's for breakfast?"
"Are there mimosas?" Cana asked in a half-awake tone.
"Nope!" Alfonzo said energetically while popping the "p". "You're still on punishment, remember?"
That seemed to wake Cana up immediately. Sitting upright in one motion, she looked at Alfonzo with her eyes wide open, despair swirling around in their depths.
"You… You were serious about that?" Cana asked dumbfoundedly.
"As a heart attack." Alfonzo said bluntly. "Now, get up and come to the table. It won't taste the same once the food gets cold."
Instead of following instructions, Cana flopped back against the mattress while laying her left forearm across her eyes in a classic "woe is me" posture.
"It's all over." Cana said melo dramatically. "It looks like my end is drawing near. OH, how cruel, how depraved my husband is. It would seem he enjoys seeing his wives suffer…"
Reaching that point, Cana moved her arm slightly to see everyone's reactions. Yet, to her disappointment, no one was even looking her way. Instead, they were too focused on filling their stomachs with Alfonzo's breakfast.
"Heartless bitches." Cana grumbled as she pushed herself up to join the others. "I thought we were supposed to be sisters. But you're not even helping me out with this."
"You brought this on yourself." Ultear said between bites. "Don't blame this on us."
"Besides, we're still waiting to hear our own punishments, ya see?" Sun pointed out with a smile. "So, if we start speaking on your behalf, our own punishments might get worse."
Just then, as Cana was about to sit down at the table, she realized that what Sun said was true. Last night, she was the only one who had been punished for the devastation they brought to Altair.
"Hey, Fonzie…" Cana said in a sour tone. "Why was I the only one who got punished last night?"
"*Sigh* That's actually quite simple." Alfonzo replied as he reached out and began combing his fingers through Cana's hair.
Melting into the comfortable feeling of Alfonzo's fingertips brushing against her scalp, Cana looked up at Alfonzo with almost all of her dissatisfaction melting away.
"It's because you're the easiest one to come up with punishments for." Alfonzo continued. "Honestly, I'm not even sure how to punish them yet. Especially since I can't just say I won't cook for them for the next month…. No, I guess I could…"
Ultear's and Sun's faces paled almost immediately upon hearing that. They then remembered the punishment Elicia received a few years ago when she had to spend points on meals, even at home, for Alfonzo's cooking.
Even worse, they were almost certain that they were going to lose most, if not all, of their points when they returned to Magnolia after being part of the group that ruined Alfonzo's record of not causing collateral damage on any of his quests.
"No, Alfonzo, you can't do that." Ultear cried. "That's just cruel and unusual, isn't it?"
"Right, right!" Sun added while nodding in agreement with Ultear. "What are we supposed to eat if you don't let us eat your cooking for a month?"
"Stop being so dramatic." Elicia said, amusement clear in her tone. "You can always pay for Fonzie's cooking with points like I did all those years ago."
Ultear's and Sun's glares were fiery enough to melt through steal when they turned to look at Elicia. Especially since they could tell that she was fully aware of the fact that they would not have any points left to buy Alfonzo's cooking after they got back.
And Elicia's next words made that even more obvious.
"You'll just have to take more quests when you get back~." Elicia said while shaking her head. "But as S-Class Wizards, I'm sure you can do enough quests to keep you fed for the next month, right? And even if you can't, there's still Grayfia and maria. They're cooking is almost as good as Fonzie's, after all."
Adhering to the old saying, "almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades," Ultear and Sun glared even harder at Elicia. Then, they slumped their shoulders in unison.
"Cana is so lucky~." Sun whined as she viciously bit into her sandwich. "She only has to give up alcohol for a month. But she can still eat Alfonzo's cooking. It's not fair."
Cana could feel one of her eyebrows twitching when she heard that. Though, it was not out of anger. Instead, it was because she knew Sun was right.
'Honestly, I don't' know which would hurt more.' Cana thought to herself. 'I mean, I love my booze. But booze doesn't keep me fed. Besides, would I even enjoy booze without the snacks Fonzie makes to go along with them? Damn… I really did get off lucky.'
With that revelation, Cana's displeasure at being the only one who got punished completely evaporated. Then, with a smile on her face, she snatched Alfonzo's sandwich out of his hand. And with one of the sweetest smiles she had ever worn, she held it up to Alfonzo's mouth.
"Say, Ahh~~~!" Cana said in a sugary sweet tone.
Unfortunately, because she was not used to such gestures, Cana basically forced the sandwich into Alfonzo's mouth, causing him to almost choke on the food.
"*Cough* *Cough* What the hell, Cana?" Alfonzo asked after getting his breathing under control. "Are you trying to feed me, or kill me? Don't just shove it down my throat."
"That's what she said." Cana shot back almost instinctively.
The atmosphere in the room froze immediately after that. Meanwhile, Alfonzo stared at Cana with a twitching eyebrow and a disbelieving expression on his face. However, the frozen atmosphere did not last long, as Elicia eventually burst into loud, uproarious laughter.
"O.M.G! Fonzie, look at your face!" Elicia shouted through her laughter. "I never thought I'd see the day when those words were turned back on you! Ahahahahahaha!"
As the only one who was not slated to be punished upon their return to Magnolia, Elicia laughed unrestrainedly. Even so, she was not the only one who was finding enjoyment in the situation. Both Ultear and Sun were also enjoying the moment immensely.
However, unlike Elicia, they were both trying to keep their laughter in, not wanting their punishments to get worse. They both knew that Alfonzo could be quite petty when it came to being laughed at, after all.
At the same time, Cana finally realized what she said. And like Ultear and Sun, she was also afraid of having her punishment increase because of it.
"Fonzie, I… I didn't mean to say that." Cana said anxiously. "It just kinda came out… I'm sor---"
Before Cana could finish her apology, Alfonzo reached out and pulled her into a fierce embrace.
"Huh?" Cana intoned confusedly.
*Sniff!*
And when she heard the sound of sniffling coming from so close, her confusion deepened. Looking up, she saw that tears were welling up in Alfonzo's eyes.
"Fonzie, what's wrong?" Cana asked in a concerned tone.
Cana's tone drew the attention of the other three ladies. And when they saw Alfonzo on the verge of tears, they were just as confused and concerned as she was.
"Fonzie?" Elicia asked.
"Alfonzo, I'm sorry for laughing at you." Ultear said, thinking that Alfonzo's feelings had actually been hurt.
Sun didn't say anything. Though, like Alfonzo, tears were welling up in her eyes, as well.
"Cana…" Alfonzo said in a strained tone. "I'm so… so…"
As he stammered, tears finally began to fall from his eyes, making the four women even more concerned. Meanwhile, Alfonzo took a deep breath to get his emotions under control.
"Fonzie?" Cana asked tentatively as she looked up at Alfonzo's face.
"Cana, I'm so proud of you." Alfonzo finally managed to get out, dumbfounding the four women in the room. "You've come so far since that day Lici and I found you outside of the guild hall."
The four dumbfounded expressions were a sight to see. At least for Alfonzo, they were. To Elicia, Cana, Sun, and Ultear,, they felt as if their feelings of concern had just been mocked.
However, those feelings did not last too long. The first to break was Cana, who, could not help but laugh loudly, much like Elicia had been not too long ago. Elicia, on the other hand, only rolled her eyes with a fond smile on her face. Sun also found herself giggling at the change. Only Ultear found herself glaring at Alfonzo and Cana.
"Give me back my feelings." Ultear said grumpily. "I really thought something was wrong just now."
With a wide, radiant smile, Alfonzo turned his attention towards Ultear. He then, with Cana still in his arms, stood up and walked to Ultear's seat. Then, he leaned down and kissed her passionately, causing the raven-haired beauty to melt almost immediately.
"So easy." Elicia muttered.
"I want a kiss, too." Sun said somewhat enviously.
A moment later, Alfonzo pulled away from Ultear before leaning in again. Though, this time he leaned in to whisper into her ear.
"Don't worry, Tear." Alfonzo whispered seductively. "When we get back, I'll work even harder to take away your feelings. The feelings in your legs, that is."
Immediately, the pale skin on Ultear's cheeks reddened… fiercely. The thought of being pounded relentlessly, making her imagination go wild. On top of that, she knew she would not have to put on that haughty, imperious attitude to provoke Alfonzo into giving it to her the way she wanted.
"Alright." Alfonzo said as he straightened up. "Let's finish breakfast. Ur, Evergreen, and the others should be here soon to hand over what they picked up yesterday. Then, I'll have to find Kurapika before we can head home."
Alfonzo then turned to Elicia before continuing.
"While I'm gone, take care of Caine." Alfonzo said, his tone much more solemn than before. "We need to get him out of Stella without anyone knowing. Otherwise, getting out could get annoying."
"Got it~." Elicia replied with a nod. "It's too bad I went a little overboard last night, though. Otherwise, I could get in a heavy bag session before we left."
"Yeah, but if you tried that now, you might actually kill him." Ultear pointed out with a slightly silly smile and still red cheeks.
"Plus, I'm sure the Fiore Royal Family would like to get some information out of him before he dies." Sun pointed out. "So, killing him is a no-no."
"I know, I know~." Elicia said while waving dismissively. "I know what I can and can't do. Don't worry."
"Good." Alfonzo said with a nod. "Then, let's get cleaned up and ready to go. I wanna get back to magnolia as soon as possible."
Receiving nods from his wives, Alfonzo let go of Cana. Then, the four women made their way into the bathroom to start getting ready for the day. Meanwhile, Alfonzo shrank the isolation chamber he put Zash in into something more manageable before sitting back to wait for the arrival of the rest of his team.
