"Hey there, boss-man. Really nice to meet you," I greeted the boss who dashed at me.
Its speed wasn't as imposing as Selgaath but it was still extremely fast.
"Whoa there. Slow your roll. Can't we get to learn more about each other first before trying to kill each other?" I asked as I used Gon's flat side to redirect a beam that came from its palm.
Its other palm shot a second beam and the pressure was beginning to push the sword in my hands backward.
"You know, this is oddly familiar to a certain superhero back in my world," I stated as I weaved between the two beams, trying to get closer to the boss.
The slit on its head then opened up and a third beam shot out.
"Whoa!" I screamed as I met the energy with a condensed lightning bolt of my own, holding it until both attacks died down.
The boss then leaped into the air, clapped its hand and a loud shockwave sent me skidding backward, nearly collapsing to my knees.
As it landed, tentacles began to pop out from its back.
