"Yeah, come on then! Kill me!" Su Ying kept provoking him.
Hang Wen's hand was shaking a little, but he still chose to stab down. Just as the knife was about to sink into Su Ying's chest, Su Ying lifted his leg and kicked Hang Wen in the chest, and he himself was knocked over with the chair onto the floor.
Bang!
The dagger fell to the side with a crisp clink.
Hang Wen gasped in pain and took a moment before he could stand up.
But the moment he stood up, someone stomped him hard back onto the floor.
He looked up and was horrified to find that Su Ying had somehow broken free of the rope and was looking down at him like a king.
"H-how did you get loose?" Hang Wen was scared now, shaking all over.
"Cousin, you really haven't grown a bit." Su Ying sneered. "If you're going to kill someone, why not just do it? You had to wait for me to wake up—wanted to see me beg you for mercy? Wanted to see how pathetic I could get?"
Hang Wen was speechless. That really had been his plan.
