(Vegeta-POV)
'What a load on my head.' Vegeta's thoughts raced though now he felt pretty pumped up to be here in the ring now, Kakarot the dolt unable to take the victory from him. Vegeta also did the observers a favor, destroying the 'Power Ball' in the sky after he finished transforming, then focused on attacking Hit, using his newfound power plus his physical size to great advantage, or to at least give Vegeta power and speed to keep up with the more stronger Hit.
"Contestant Vegeta and contestant Hit, you may begin whenever-"
"-Silence twerp. I'll begin now, I'll start by gathering my power first. So long as you let me to it…" Hit nodded as Vegeta grunted, he already gathered his power during the fight that Kakarot participated in, for his excitement didn't stop him from thinking things through and having his power almost at the height of his reserves would speed up his transformations along. He did this encase Hit decided to attack him there and then, not allowing him to reach them for he'd just seen the extent of Kakarot's power, Vegeta was not surprised a warrior of Hit's caliber wanted to fight against someone who needed to transform in order to be that opponent of worth and Vegeta 'is' more than worthy.
"Heh, fine. Stand there and await you're defeat then. I will certainly use that time to-"
"-Get on with it. I won't attack you until you're ready, don't squander that time by speaking." Hit growled out, as Vegeta gave a mock chuckle after, savoring in the thought of the coming battle.
'Not one easily riled up. Good.' Vegeta growled out loudly, his energy quick to rush all around him and soar in radius around him, now constantly discharging with random flickers of his condensed energy. With a laugh, Vegeta's energy and he pushed straight for 'Super Saiyan Four' then and there. Not wanting to be undone by Kakarot, he also focused on that new state, the 'Super Saiyan Blue' and at this he gritted his teeth through sheer concentration. His will didn't waver, continuing to hold onto the 'Primal' state while also tapping into the newer god Ki form, 'Blue', for watching Kakarot before him while also facing that combination transformation when Kron used it a few times before, Vegeta was more than hungry to acquire such a rite upon his noble blood.
"Hnnnggh Haaaaaaaaghh!! Raaaaaarhh... uuuuuuurrrrrrrgghh!!!!!!" Vegeta felt his eyes almost roll up into his sockets for at once, his Red-riddled swirling aura that engulfed him in a harsh wave of Ki then paved way to become intermixed with that of 'Super Saiyan Blue', his power fighting his body every step of the way but h-here and Now!!!… … …He'd done it.
"Hahhaa!! Does t-this take the cake!! Kakarot!! Whatever forms you can reach, I can also do!! And You Kron… I'll gloat in my victory soon enough against you. Until then, enjoy as the King of All Saiyan's defeats this-" Hit took this as his queue and afterimaged over, using that speed technique and launching a blow towards Vegeta. Vegeta backpedaled, turning as he witnessed the speed of Hit first hand, though for once he could now see him as what Kakarot couldn't see him as… a slug… A SLUG!!
Vegeta snapped forwards, his wrists denying Hit's technique from landing, expertly moving as to deny his attack, snapping his elbow forwards and landing a vicious left hook, all the while Vegeta flickered out of the way when Hit's kick counterattack was launched. Missing his counter, Vegeta flickered into position to use his momentum to swing his own kick towards Hit's face, though Hit managed to counter with that annoying speed or whatever, technique, pushing himself out of the way with his own momentum, punching air made Hit dodge.
""You're stronger than your friend Goku but I find you to be annoying. The fact you're able to keep up with me while I'm using only one percent of my power goes to show I can stop holding back as much as I've been doing… For doing so is also a strain on me. I'll be using fifty percent of my power going forward-" Vegeta had barely any time to whimper out a reply when Hit begun to flash with Ki exploding around him, leaving his body as if the bastard was really holding back on him… Vegeta was not able to outpace Hit anymore when he came towards him, engaging in fierce hand to hand combat at explosive speeds that Vegeta was having a hard time, almost challenging time in keeping up with.
Vegeta let out a laugh though, not worried in the least and managed to keep up as good as he could, giving as much as he received in way of his own melee blows-
-Hit flickered forwards at unreadable speeds, his hand in that manner of that technique that was Hit's signature move from how much that bastard made to make that attack, though instead of Vegeta being capable of dodging it this time around or maneuvering out of the way in time as he did so before, this blow struck him in the side of the elbow, catching him off-guard when Hit followed through with a spinning kick to his upper body.
Afterimaging after him, Vegeta rolled via handstands and kicked off from the arena, taking flight, then flashing his Ki all around while thrusting his hands forwards in a repetitive motion, launching a blue-colored rain of small Ki blasts aimed at Hit. The volley continued for a few seconds, while he bid himself some time to counter.
Vegeta paused then, blasting for the ring and kicking off from the ground, then skipping through the air into the debris cloud, reengaging with Hit in a melee exchange, Hit at first taking the hits in stride for he'd been blindsided from the volley, if only temporarily.
Hit begun shouting hoarsely during the roundabout melee brawl, as Vegeta found that his attacks that were on point and connecting were doing less and less to phase him at this point, as the time passed Hit's yells became less and Vegeta found himself on the defense more than he could launch his own attacks. Hit then exploded with his energy engulfing him all around, the dust and debris that was in the process of being exhumed from their brawl in the centre of the ring was dispersed along with Vegeta himself, who managed to stop himself from falling from the ring mid-flight, the air around him cracked from the shock wave he created.
"Haa! Hit, so you've hidden a great much more than you've been showing, yeah? Well, I've got one more parlor trick to show you in the moment." Vegeta cackled, his right hand held to his side, and the familiar light of the Power Ball technique came to life, where he threw it upwards, watching it pass through the invisible encasing dome and exploding high up. The resulting moon that formed had him smirking, though as his thoughts caught up to him, he snapped his gaze to his wife and shouted.
"Keep their eyes off of it!" Vegeta turned to gaze upwards, catching a bit of the blutz waves in his sight and feeling that familiar 'pulse' hum from within him. Vegeta almost forgotten about all the brats out there, who still had their tails and were capable of transforming but for real, he would have still used the 'Power ball'.
'There is no way I'm losing to this time-skipping bastard.' Vegeta thought back onto Kakarot's fight, seeing that he did use 'ultra instinct' to a degree, he was more in keeping himself from being overwhelmed by the combination transformation of which, he'd still needed to build up a tolerance to in order to not succumb to rapid stamina drain, a weakness that Vegeta knew he also had… for now.
"F-Fine, I'll try it out. With Whis training us about it, I'll be the first to properly s-showcase it to you. 'Ultra Instinct'… now, come at me. I'm ready…"
(Kron-POV)
"Hmm, 'Ultra Instinct' huh? You, Goku and Vegeta managed that then, Piccolo? I noticed you using a very flawed version during your fight and that of Goku's here, though his concentration was more upon that combination transformation." Lord Whis stated with a thoughtful expression, glancing down as Vegeta's goading prompted the renewal of their melee clash, Hit and Vegeta clashed while each attack billowed shock waves.
"Nah, not me. That technique… I've been much too busy in getting used to God Ki, Goku though… I think he's begun to tap into that ability you and Lord Beerus wield, Lord Whis. Kron?"
"Not me, though I've now placed it at the top of my list. Not about to let Vegeta get the better of me, in anything. The humiliation and no doubt he would continuously rub it into my face… As if." I said, a faint trace of a smirk crossed both Whis and piccolo's faces, as Lord Beerus shrugged before replying.
"Well, with a teacher you'll get it down pat faster than the arrogant Saiyan King. Now, silence. I'm enjoying the way Vegeta openly mocks his opponents… Let's just see if he has the stones to back that up, with might than with barking." Sitting down near to Lord Whis, I sat back and watched Vegeta go at it.
"My Lord, could it be that you've grown some attachment to you're team. To be championing their improvement this much… It is a wonder if you're planning on retiring or-"
"-K-Knock it off Whis. I've not planned on retiring by any stretch. It's just good that I've got so many 'Super Saiyan God' fighters around, encase I wanted to vent once again. Plus beating Champa over there makes having peons worthwhile." only Tien frowned, we; that is, Piccolo and me were already used to Beerus and his tsundere ways. The guy was hard to get used to when I first met him, and staying on his good side was an immense chore, though the benefits of having such a powerful sparing partner outweighed his arrogant way he acted like when he first awoken to us training on his planet.
"Vegeta is stronger than Goku with his combination form, since he lacks the tail; Goku cannot access 'Super Saiyan Four'. Vegeta never lost his tail and has since surpassed Goku." I said, Tien then quickly adding.
"Yeah, though if Goku used 'Super Saiyan Three' Instead of 'Two', he would have had a better chance." Piccolo then said, shaking his head.
"Though we know that 'Super Saiyan Three' saps a lot of strength quicker than 'Four' or 'Two'. Then there is 'Kaio-Ken' also enacting over both that transformation and 'Super Saiyan Blue' as you all call it. No way around it, Though Goku must have gotten stronger from this fight, from taking such a beating." Beerus growled, interrupting our theory making.
"I said quiet, Vegeta is going to lose. There is no way around that. Now watch closely now, better get everything you can from this fight now Kron. You're up next after all."
(Raven Branwen-POV)
"Vegeta's been holding back, looks like. What a dunce." She gritted her teeth, speaking out loud nearby to the others. Yang spoke with something akin to be mocking, though there was 'some' concern there. Seeing that Vegeta and Yang had little to no interaction, this coming from her was a little warming to see. Raven wasn't so soft as to say this aloud though and so she just grunted to Yang's words while thinking of a reply.
Raven's brats, minus Yang had since joined Goku and his and Kron's kids who'd came to watch the tournament, eating away like… the Saiyan's they are and she relaxed slightly, no longer having to worry about feeding them all and where the food would have came from. They weren't poor, though five Saiyan's could quickly eat their money away in a fortnight all too soon-
-Vegeta, his overwhelming power which eclipsed anything he'd been capable of doing prior to this event, was seemingly shown to not be enough. That Hit guy… he was able to keep up and even surpass Vegeta in both speed and strength, plus whatever that special technique did, it also had an impact on Hit's eventual win…
"Vegeta's gone and further pushed the difference between us even more. It's going to be annoying for a while as he goes on about his newfound strength. Ah, to imagine he'd be even more cocky from here on." she sighed, not at all annoyed by his ways. Sure he will be bruising her a lot more than usual during their sparring… and well, sex but she still had her youth thanks to that plant that Paradise Herb, which Bulma was cultivating or trying to last she heard, though as far as she knew they could only grow it in that forest, so they might have set up greenhouses there.
She would remain young for a- thousand years? All of them at this point except for their kids encase they remained children for a thousand years or whatever instead, and the secret to that was theirs to keep.
'Enough about that stuff, Vegeta and Hit are coming to a close… He's going to be irritated by this, I just know it." she glared ahead, watching with a sharp gaze, eyes continuously tracking their every position they flickered to, then the next.
(Vegeta-POV)
'So this wasn't enough… blast, what an annoying outcome! That even the Great ape didn't add anymore power to defeat this annoyance.' Vegeta growled, though inside he wasn't that much offended, for whatever boost in power he gains from giving his all, and making this… bastard from universe six continue to up his hidden power to fully defeat him. Until then, Vegeta continued reigning down all of his capabilities on Hit, attacking via melee combat or the occasional use of his Ki techniques, even his greater size didn't help much, though when he did connect with Hit with a melee blow, it did a lot to punish Hit, which greatly amused the both of them, a surprise for Vegeta that the guy was enjoying this battle.
For Vegeta, he continued to go all out against this warrior using every ounce of his being, while Vegeta understood from Hit's words that he was now using half of his power augmented by that 'Time Skip' ability he spoke of.
Vegeta took another hit, from that same attack and growled as Hit once more used it to get into position to strike at Vegeta again, though by the sheer speed he'd boasted, Vegeta only managed to dodge this attempt but forgone an opening he could use in a counterattack. The King of all Saiyan's coughed once again, for Hit had been aiming for vital points and had managed to snag a few of them, and only by the skin of his teeth did he remain standing, able to even attempt his offensives against him in their deadly combative dance.
"!!" Vegeta shouted, powering up for one last great big onslaught… or rampage as his growls he expelled were very loud in the Oozeru body, his worn body holding on as he went to the brink of what he'd had left inside his reserves. Hit landed nearby, watching him for a few seconds, though jumping into his fighting posture, hands at the ready for whatever Vegeta was about to unleash.
The planet shook continuously, shuttering with bit of rock appearing to rise even outside the encasing dome that kept up an atmospheric condition around the arena, Vegeta then absorbed all that power into himself, using it all to bolster his final melee onslaught.
'Even weaker than this guy, if I can cause him to ring-out, I'll win t-this!' Vegeta attack with fierce determination, the energy all gathered to bolster him helped him also in improving his speed, which he needed when Hit used that 'Time-Skip' technique he'd mentioned to him almost in a bored way, before.
His axe kick he'd suddenly connected onto Hit struck half a second before Hit was able use his own speed to maneuver, then allowed Vegeta to barrage Hit with a whole array of punches that connected. A few seconds later, Hit had gotten up his defensive posture, Vegeta continued laying in every punch and kick to wherever he could manage, even going so far as to break through or go around entirely Hit's defensive guard-
-Hit expelled his own energy in a sudden rush, powering up and with speed comparable to Vegeta's own, he then used the 'Time-Skip' technique, which struck at Vegeta's body, piercing through his right shoulder, with a piercing blow.
"Hngh!! Is that all you got, you bastard!!" he roared once again, his Ki exploding from him and he held on hand in place, energy gathering there.
"One more attack, Hit. Survive this!" he roared, his energy gathered at his maw, he looked domineeringly on Hit, the little speck compared to him and the energy begun cackling within his mouth.
"With pleasure, warrior." Hit remarked a moment before Vegeta launched his attack, the enlarge beam hit, Hit tanking the blast and halted the attack, Vegeta continued to pour every bit of his remaining power into the attack, finding himself quickly draining to nothing soon enough.
Hit was being pushed though, no doubt about that… Vegeta's maw, which as of now he had to keep agape to pour more power into his mouth beam, now started to salivate, both at the thought of pushing this little shit out of the ring and also, because… his mouth was agape.
"!!" Vegeta snapped tightly his jawed mouth, stepping backwards once as he watched the large oval-shaped Ki-blast, once a beam though now condensed into that shape, continued to struggle against Hit-
"Gah! What!! hahaha!! T-That didn't do s-shit!!" Vegeta laughed aloud, something akin to denial at first as he witnessed as Hit kicked upwards in a sudden motion, with what looked to be quite a bit of effort, Hit then flickered upwards in front of Vegeta, launching a kick to his enlarged face, the beam tore through the encasing dome around the arena which was then repaired immediately while Vegeta landed on his rear when Hit continued to attack with his melee blows in quick succession. Vegeta's rear felt the ground out of the arena, he landed on one knee and glared hatefully at Hit, who looked to be smirking.
