This was something that only I could feel, which was why no one else found the situation strange.
But the moment that the swords cut into the tentacles, I could tell that there was something that was draining away the power that was in the swords. It was as if there was something that was slowly taking away bits of the swords themselves.
Though because of the power difference between the two sides, the swords were still able to pierce through the tentacles in the end.
If it wasn't for that, the situation might have completely changed.
However, it wasn't as if I was about to leave the matter alone.

The swords had penetrated the tentacles that came from the mass, but it wasn't as if it had reached the main part of the mass. The tentacles had come out enough that they were able to be discarded when they were pierced by the swords to a certain point.
