With Joan's charge pushing the monsters aside, we were able to create a path into the cave.
Though that didn't mean that we had an idea of what was waiting for us inside.
It was just a good thing that the flames around Joan provided us with enough light that we were able to see what was around us.
However, this charge didn't last long.
It wasn't that there was something that was in the cave that stopped us.
It was just that this cave wasn't that big in the first place.
It didn't take long before we reached the end of the cave and had nowhere else to go.
With how short this cave was, it really was confusing why the monsters had waited outside the cave in the first place. It should have been easy for one of those races to have snuck into the cave and taken whatever was here away.
Only none of them did that…
"Was it because whatever is here wasn't ready before today? They had only noticed a trace of its power, but it had never released its powers like this until today?"
