I didn't even wait until the next morning to head down to see the flame elementals.
When they saw me, they were naturally surprised to find me coming down again.
After all, they had seen the way that I had left.
They thought that it would have taken me some time to come to terms with what I heard and come back down.
However, it wasn't as if they didn't welcome me.
After all, I was their hope in restoring their home.
With the way that they looked at me, it was as if they were hoping that I would go and inject more divine energy into the red gem.
But that wasn't the reason that I was here.
The reason that I was here was actually to dim this hope that they were all feeling which made it even more awkward for me to actually say anything. Especially when I saw the way that they all looked at me.
Only I knew that the longer that I delayed this, the worse that it would become.
This had to be a bandaid that was ripped off quickly or else it would become more troublesome later on.
