"I need answers", The King stared into the eyes of every elder seated in the room "Who did it?"
"Well, shit," Thane stared at Miguel and Silas with a deep smile
"Miguel?" The king looked at him "Do you have anything to say?"
"Your highn—"
"And you, Lilith", He interrupted Miguel , "I've been given reports of suspicious movement you've been making… in and out of the werewolf settlement"
Everyone sucked in cold breaths the moment the king finished speaking. Just an action as little as walking into the werewolf settlement was as bad as copulating with other races – punishable by death. And worse, the king's most trusted aide was the one committing this atrocity.
"Lilith, werewolves," Viktor laughed heartily ", A funny combination if you ask me"
"I have been saying this." Carmella clicked her tongue in disgust "She's no worse than her mo—"
"I dare you to complete that sentence", Lilith finally spoke up as a deep, murderous aura enveloped the entire room "Just complete it. Go on"
