The memory being displayed by the Jumbotron showed young Kaneki in the park looking at a story book telling the story of the first 7 Demon Knights.
And he was interested in one thing.
"The Demon Knight relics they hold small powers of the Demon Knights who wielded them, if I'm able to get all of them then maybe... I can bring Mama back and... Kill those people"
He shown he really wanted to get more powerful, to bring his Mom back and for vengeance.
And as for everyone watching, they immediately understood what Kaneki was seeing after witnessing the two previous memories.
???: So he's seeing the memories of the ones he considers his "Heroes".
???: And those flames has to be connected to them right?
Some were even putting a connection between the flying balls of fire to the memories being shown.
Yuuka's thoughts*
(This memory is most likely related to me, how come Kaneki see's even me as his Hero?)
Yuuka had realized this immediately after seeing the two memories. She watched carefully trying to understand why Kaneki would see her as one of his Heroes.
"Now then I should probably start finding these relics, Rebecca Sensei might have some data about the-"

Young Kaneki heard crying and was curious to where it was coming from, he followed the sounds until he found a girl around his age crying behind a tree.
"Hey what are you doing here? Why are you crying?"
"Huh?! W-Who are you?"
It was Yuuka.
(I knew it!)
"I should be asking you that, why are you hiding here? And why are you crying?"
"I... am not obligated to tell you any data about about what happened to me"

"Interesting but are you sure it's made by Demon Knight Shin?"

"This? Yeah but I'm using it right now"

"I'm going to use it to find some Demon Knight weapons"

"What? No, I want to make a museum filled with the relics and not just relics. I want to make the entire Museum dedicated to the Demon Knights, Heroes who had been protecting us for thousands of years"

"Simple it's my dream"

"That's right. I love the Demon Knights a lot, learning about their history, how they lived. I want to learn more about them. A museum dedicated for the Demon Knights would be perfect for me, and maybe one day meet one myself"

"Good! Let's meet here again tomorrow, I'll bring some books that would help up search for a relic!"

Seeing the images of their research from Kaneki's gave Yuuka a sense of nostalgia.
'Our time searching was fun the books we read, the clues we found each one leading us closer to the relics and when we finally found our first relic, the Liberator. You gave it to me with open arms.'

"I said you can have it, you did want the power of a Demon Knight relic right?"
"I know, but I said I'd give up on the relics"
"I know, but since you helped me find our first relic you should keep it."
"I'm not sure about this..."
"C'mon take it, it's just one relic I'm fine if my museum is missing one relic. Besides this one would be perfect for you, it's the first ever relic made and was wielded by the Demon Knight's first leader Urizen"

???: This was honestly a lot longer than the first two memories huh?
Everyone watching didn't mind seeing the longer memories and were actually interested in seeing Kaneki's memories in his perspective.

Natsuki on the other hand wasn't too happy since she knew that the girl in the memory was one of the girls that hurt Kaneki.
Although she doesn't know that girl was Yuuka.
"What if I continue to take relics? The more we find the more I'll get tempted, and I might even resort to stealing from you!"
'Even with my resistance, you persisted'
"In that case, let's make a promise."
"A promise?"
"Yup, you are not allowed to touch any other relic without my permission"
"That... I don't know if that would work."

"C'mon~ just accept it, this could be the symbol of our friendship"
