Her school days were proceeding quite well as she was learning a lot and was gaining a lot of experience.
She may not have been one to stand out too much in terms of how powerful her Quirk had been, but she did get good grades in a lot of her classes.
If it were not for her disadvantageous background related to her upbringing, then perhaps she might have had a much better start.
If it were not for the efforts she had put into learn things on her own, then perhaps she would have been much further behind other kids who were the same age as her.
If she were not so driven to learn and did not possess the capabilities of her Quirk, then she would still be very far behind.
There was no real education given besides the very basics in the carnival, so most of the things that were learned were related to things that could possibly get them a chance of joining in the performances.
If they were kept dumb and could not think for themselves, then it was easier to control and exploit them.
That was the kind of environment she had been living in, so it could be imagined how far behind she would have been.
Catching up to others was not easy, and it was not like she possessed a Quirk that let her remember everything clearly or comprehend it well like some kind of intelligence Quirk.
Some things required her to spend more time on to learn and mastering even if she happened to be more talented in some of those areas.
She started with the basics and got started mastering those through constant study and practice until she got a better grasp of those things before moving on to the next stages.
Even if things were difficult for her, she kept at it until she was able to get to a level where she would be able to enter a regular school and not fall behind once she was able to attend classes.
Her presence in the school was still quite small, even if she did get decent grades, as she preferred to keep to herself and had a smaller friendship circle.
Staying in the limelight and standing out among a crowd was just not her thing, and she did not like all of the attention it could bring to her.
Perhaps it was her preference to live that way, like how she would be in the background, like some inanimate object that few people would pay attention to or interact with.
If there was something that could explain it, then that kind of mentality could have something to do with the characteristics of her Quirk.
It could just as easily be the result of her upbringing that had led to that type of personality forming.
The only attention she seemed to gain from others when she was growing up was usually not so pleasant, and those interactions usually left some kind of emotional scar on her.
It was especially the case for the memories she could recall from the orphanage, and after that, when she was adopted into the carnival.
The whole time being a part of the Hall of Horrors, being treated as some kind of monster or freak would leave all kinds of unpleasant memories and experiences for anyone, so it would be even worse for a young child who was still growing and forming their sense of self.
Outside of her studies, she had a relatively easier time in her everyday life and her other business matters.
Although her organisation had required a lot of her attention when it was first started, she slowly started to gain some reliable people who could handle various matters for her.
It soon started to become stable, allowing her to have more free time to devote to herself.
There were certain aspects of the organisation that let it run itself when it came to the task system, and how a lot of the people connected to it would be similar to mercenaries that were a part of a guild.
It was her job and others to provide the work by seeking out the jobs and gaining new contacts, while those a part of the organisation would be the ones to take on those jobs.
There would even be some people who were given referrals and introductions to certain clients to provide them with a more suitable place to live their lives, following their ideals.
Not everyone was so law-abiding and wanted to follow the path that was within the confines of the law and structure of the country.
There were a lot of those people who worked within the morally grey and black areas, and each of those people had varied ideologies that set them apart from others.
Those people could become vigilantes, while others would much prefer to get involved with some kind of criminal or villain group, and others would join groups like the revolutionary group.
