The location changed again after a couple of days had passed since the events that had transpired during her vigilante activities.
It was another time of observation for Tiffany as she had possessed one of the teddy bears that had been provided through the stores and factories that she had owned a part of due to her activities.
Her investments and brokering had proven to be very effective in helping spread her influence further and to keep track of many things.
Even in more difficult places to plant a way to observe things, she had managed to succeed.
Not everywhere had allowed her to do that, but if she put her mind to it, then she could find a way to achieve it.
All kinds of plushies, toys and other things were supplied to places where they would be bought in bulk.
A lot of those places would end up keeping them in storage or would find some other purpose for them.
If they were purchased for the sake of selling or being used as prizes to be won, then they would end up stopping at such a place temporarily until everything would be reduced to nothing.
When that happened, they would likely come looking for another supply.
Tiffany had taken hold of that supply and demand, allowing her to keep them flowing in and out of such places quite regularly.
It helped her to keep an eye on such places while spreading them even further to reach all kinds of places and people that would likely bring her new interesting things to observe.
One prime target for that kind of process had been her former home.
The carnival was always moving, so it made it difficult to keep track of all of the time.
They were always going through all kinds of things that would be used up through each show they put on, and for each day they would host the carnival in a set location before packing everything up and moving on to another location.
Tiffany had been able to keep watch over a lot of things due to her making such efforts.
With her no longer around, a lot of things had changed within the carnival.
Without her being the victim of the tantrums and drunken violence that had been inflicted upon her through harsh words and the physical abuse that she had suffered before leaving everything behind, the target naturally changed to someone else.
They had not stopped with their greed and their other bad habits.
They were still finding ways to pick up children of younger ages to raise them.
When those children grew up to a certain age and seemed to have something that would be worth something, they would end up being sold off to anyone who would be willing to pay for them.
Anyone who was able to integrate with the carnival and keep their place there by taking on a more important role would be able to stay and thrive as a part of the family.
Anyone who was less important to the act would end up getting poor treatment and would likely be considered to be sold off sooner or later.
If such people were still of no worth to be sold off, then they would likely become targets for all kinds of bullying and abuse from those who needed a punching bag or someone to vent on.
The regular people who had been the ones doing the most damage had been her adoptive parents.
Even after believing that she had died as a result of that night, they did not stop.
Perhaps there might have been a little guilt or regret after they did it, as it was likely an accident, and they had been drunk when it happened.
The problem was that they never really showed any real remorse for what had happened.
It was more like they had succeeded in covering up her death, and they moved on from it quite quickly.
They ended up returning to their old habits very quickly.
They were drinking heavily once more, and when they needed someone to curse and shout at, when they did not find her there, they went looking for another target.
That had been going on since she had disappeared from their lives.
They may not have killed anyone since they believed that they had killed Tiffany that night, but they had still done a lot of bad things that had resulted in physical and mental harm being done to those they targeted.
Some of them were not so mentally resilient, even if they had a stronger body than Tiffany had back then.
They looked up to their parents and did not know their true faces.
Tiffany had learned their true faces a very long time ago, and that had hardened her heart.
She never let them into her heart again after learning everything about them, and she never trusted them again.
Others did not have such a wakeup call to let them change their views of their parents.
They were still stuck believing that everything was just happening as a result of the alcohol.
They had to keep telling themselves that was the reason why their parents were being so harsh with them.
