When Max woke up, he was no longer inside the mysterious room. His wounds had closed, and he was outside the room back in front of the glowing lake. When he looked down, he nearly jumped back in shock.
"My reflection. Why do I look like this what's happened to me?" Max touched his face as he could see his left eye had turned a shade of blue as deep as the ocean while his right eye was as red as blood. His hair had grown a couple inches and now was jet back with hints of blue throughout.
Max closed his eyes and focused trying to bring his stats up in his mind.

Max couldn't believe his eyes as his arm started to move on its own slowly grasping around his neck and squeezing with such power, he wasn't sure was even his before abruptly releasing and falling back to his side leaving him out of breath and coughing.
