The gazes of everyone present outside the inn were varied. The faces of the onlookers ranged from curiosity, confusion, and unease. Curiosity because they wanted to know what Nox had done to the lord of the island, Andre, and confusion because they did not even know who Nox was.
However, from the tidbits they heard through their interactions, it appeared that Nox was an enemy, but they also saw that he did not force Andre through the strange door that had popped out of the air, which meant it had been consensual.
However, that look on Nox's face suggested that he was up to no good.
"Could it be he tricked Lord Andre?" one of the onlookers whispered.
Another spat and said in a loud voice, "That's not possible. Andre is the strongest person on the entire human continent. Are you trying to say some kid showed up from nowhere and got rid of him?"
