After the introduction of the head of the Fivindus clan. They didn't seem like bad people themselves. They may look scary and have a bad reputation but they might actually be good people.
I sat in the room that my guide had provided me. The room had a king sized bed with pillow stuffings from the softest feathers. The mattress was the softest thing I had laid down on.
I sat on my bed staring out of the window. My mood soured as I thought of bad scenarios. I quickly shook them off before getting off the bed to explore the estate.
Maybe Aylin was somewhere here and I could meet up with her. My guide told me that I could go wherever I wanted as long as I don't leave the estate. And that if I wanted to leave I just had to tell him.
But the problem was that he completely forgot to tell me where I had to go to find him. This guy was completely unreliable.
I ventured down the luxurious corridors and found a door that was different from the other ones. It had a golden crest of a beetle on it. I knocked to make sure that no one was inside. The guide did tell me that I could wherever I pleased.
When no my knocks were left unanswered I turned the doorknob and peeked inside. It was dimly lit with wax candles lining the walls. Shelves filled with books and then I caught the glimpse of someone sitting by the table. I sneaked into the library and approached the person at the desk. This library wasn't as impressive as the library of Landia but it was still impressive.
It was a girl in a white robe. Her eyes were completely closed with a cute relaxed expression on her face. Her hair was snow white with hints of blue in it. It was a rare sight to see. There weren't many people at all with white hair in this country. Her head was resting on the table with books stacked next to her. An open book laid in front of her. It seemed that she had fallen asleep reading.
I had a closer look she was reading. It was a fairytale about bunnies turning into humans and getting hunted by angry mobs. I took a closer look at her face and she somehow resembled a cute baby animal.
Her eyes started to twitch and her eyes fluttered open. They were bright crimson and stared at me with confusion. I blinked and suddenly she was completely gone. She was no where to be seen even after I searched around the library. I called out to her, apologizing if I had startled her but she didn't come back.
I decided it would be best if I just left and continued my search for Aylin. I knocked on more doors but there were still no one who wanted to answer me. Until I finally heard someone tell me to come in after I knocked.
Finally I thought, someone who was actually in their darn room. But there was something off about it. The sounds and vibes coming from the room were similar to the brothel. But I decided to open the door anyways because there werenu anyone else in this forsaken building.

"How about you cover yourself before introductions," I told him not trying to look down.

My guide came out of his room with his blanket wrapped around of his body.
"I want to see Aylin, could you take me to her?"
He rubbed his eye and told me why I had come so late at night.
"IT'S 6 PM! And why haven't you introduced yourself, you are supposed to be my guide yet you haven't even said your name once."
My guide groaned before telling me to be a bit more quiet or else he would need to deal with trouble again
"The name is Lukas Fivindus. I'm your guide for this year… and uh… that's good enough right?"
I sighed before asking him about Aylin.
"Can't you come back in like 5 hours or something."
"It would be 11 PM by then and everyone would be asleep."
"Right… uhm…" he sighed before rubbing his eyes and throwing his blanket back onto the bed and telling me to follow him.
We moved at a snail's pace through the long corridors of the mansion and after 15 minutes of walking I got to see Aylin. She seemed really happy and relaxed. We sat together in the Fivindus restaurant and ate.
