Chapter 64 - Experimentation

The vein wiggled and avoided the rusty needle as researchers tried injecting a liquid they have been experimenting. Curses and threats from the Kawlite prisoner who had been detained in Wien soon turned into screams of terror as the liquid was pumped out throughout his body. A pain that was described as razorblades coursing through the bloodstream. A burning sensation that followed afterwards. The researchers wrote down the observations. The man struggled to breath as blood started to pool in his bloodshot eyes. An explosive cough launched mucus covered blood all over his chest as his mouth started to foam.

The metal restrains started to rattle and the bed shook with tremendous tremors as his body started to spasm. After a few seconds the whole room went silent. And the researchers said that the experiment was a success and said that now they only needed to make it into a gas so they could load it into bombs that they could use on the Luvian Empire. Matiligax sat bored in the corner watching them. They had talked about a grand experiment where which would definitely make them known. But it seemed to be nothing but a paper tiger. Matiligax heard the old research men who where high on their own hubris celebrate as if they have made a grand discovery.

He left the room disappointed and his assistant was waiting for him at the entrance to his sector with a letter in her hand. He took the letter and read it through carefully. He made a grimace before sighing and burning it to ashes.

"That damn woman, keep telling me what to do. Isn't that right Selacha?"

"Professor I do not know-"

His arm thrusted itself at his assistant grabbing her by the throat and pinning her against the wall.

"I asked you, am I not correct?" He made a face full of sorrow.

"I do not know who you are referring to."

He slammed his assistant's head against the stone walls. Her face slowly turned purple but she didn't struggle.

"You damn soulless doll", he slammed her against the wall one final time before storming off into his sector.

Selecha gently caressed the sunken marks of his hand on her skin. She got onto her feet and walked into Matiligax's sector.

He didn't say anything to her as he prepared to draw some blood from the lusians. The bird lusian gently stretched out her wings for him to draw blood. The dog lusian stared at the man drawing her friend's blood. Her legs tensed up and her eyes grew with determination. The bird locked eyes with the dog and slowly shook her head.

The dog lusian backed away from the man and sat down with its tail wrapped around its body watching the man attentively.

That's when Matiligax heard a low faint sound, almost like the cries of a kitten. He didn't think much of it until he heard it again close by. The bird lowered its left arm and gently touched its stomach as if shuffling something.

Matiligax finished drawing the blood and was about to walk away when he asked her what that sound was. She shook her head and said that it was nothing with a bead of sweat running down her cheek.

Eyes of doubt was cast upon the bird as sound of ruffling could be heard tearing at fabric. That's when all of the sudden a loud explosive thud could be heard and everyone's attention was diverted toward the white tiger.

He began thrasing around and rattling the metal chains so they echoed throughout the chamber.

Matiligax turned around in complete awe, completely forgetting about the noises. He had given him a muscle relaxant just a few hours ago and he is already back at it.

Then a grim thought popped into Matiligax's head. The tales of Lusians stated that the lusians are born from the moon's love and the guilt of the world. But he wondered if their biology were similar to men.

He ordered his assistant to strip in front of everyone. The white tiger continued to thrash about as Selacha began remove her clothes. She stood completey bare in front of them and Matiligax told her to stimulate the white tiger.

"Yes, Professor."

She approached the white tiger and pinned down his already restrained arms and hovered above him. Her voluptuous chest right in his face.

Both of the Lusians in the cage watched in confusion at the act of man.

The white tiger eyes of anger turned to confusion. Her finger ran gently down his chest and down his stomach.

But no matter how much she stimulated his nether region there was no reaction.

Selache walked back towards Malitigax and apologized for not being able to do what he had told her.

"Maybe it is because you are too doll-like."

The bird asked what Malitigax was trying to do. That's when he learned that Lusian mating culture was far different from human. The removal of clothes was typically a sign of submission and unwavering loyalty towards the person you reveal your body to. And that they only mated during nights where the moon shone brightly in the sky.

Sexual intimacy without the moon was considered a bad omen. Because according to the bird copulation is the moment when an animal is most vulnerable and therefore without the watchful eye of the moon they wouldn't do it.

Matiligax looked over at his assistant and told her to get herself dressed. The bird continued to explain that the reason why the white tiger was so aggressive was due to his body being completely bare, he didn't want to submit to Matiligax so he was showing resistance. So Matiligax gave back the clothes the white tiger had and instantly just as the bird had told him, the tiger calmed down.

Matiligax thanked the bird for the cooperation while the dog sat in the corner with her head resting on her knees with arms around. He gave her some snacks and promptly left his sector to head to his temporary designated living space he had been given in Wien.

After the bird heard the keys turn and the metal door lock she lifted her shirt and out rolled out a small orange kitten. With whiskers white as silk and eyes green as clovers it slowly blinked at the bird with curious eyes.

The bird picked up the snack and put it close to the kitten's mouth. Its small tongue reached out to taste the piece of meat jerky, its tiny paws then reaching out to grab it.

"Isn't it good, Princess?" The bird smiled trying to reassure.

"I promise I will get you out of this place," she said rubbing the kitten's chin.

The dog muttered and said it is pretty impossible to break out of this place with all the secured doors.

"Hey, Lucieno!" The bird called out.

The white tiger now back in his cage looked over at the bird but didn't say anything.

"Do you think you could take down that Matiligax guy?"

The dog then answered her question for him, saying that taking Matiligax down wasn't the problem, it was that assistant of his.

All of them agreed on one thing, the lukini inside of her didn't match her body at all. It was as if there was a soul inside a body it didn't belong.

Matiligax and Selacha walked down the streets of Wien together. The night was eerily quiet and calm with only the sound of their shoes touching the ground being heard.

They walked by a café and Selacha looked inside to see a faint light and a blonde haired girl laughing as she was mopping the floor. Quickly they made it to their building which was on the outskirts of Wien. It was a small cabin the Royal family had assigned to them.

As they entered they saw that there were shoes and jackets lined up neatly by the entrance but no one was inside. There were some food in the cabinets and the beds were messy, with dirty pillow casings and a blanket that was drooping off the bed. There was another room filled with toys with a crib mobile with moons spinning above the white empty crib.

Matiligax sat down onto the bed and his assistant stood by his side.

"I might have said some mean stuff to you today Selacha. But I'm happy to have you."

"As long as I can be of use to you, Professor." She bowed her head.

He slowly pat the bed gesturing for her to sit down. Her soft warm thighs then wrap themselves around Malitigax's head as he lays down on her lap.

Gently caressing her hands he asked her if he had done good today in which she responded with that he always did.

"Thank you Selacha," he squeezed her hand and closed his eyes.

She stared out the window at the beautiful nightsky. But for some reason the word beautiful didn't make sense for her.
