"I did some research. In that festival, the flying technique your Beautifly displayed consumed an enormous amount of energy. For a Pokémon like Beautifly, even maintaining it for a single minute would be a burden. How long can you keep it up?"

In just a few short exchanges, two Elite Four–level Pokémon had decided the outcome. With a heavy heart, Grayson sent out his next Pokémon, because the combat strength Beautifly had displayed was far beyond what his research had indicated.
Moreover, even after such an intense clash, he still couldn't see any sign of fatigue on Beautifly. That was what worried him most of all. That flying technique felt extremely troublesome to deal with.
