At half past seven in the evening, he heard the sound of a car engine starting downstairs. He stood on the balcony and saw cars from the Sheng Family gradually leaving the Sheng Family's large courtyard.
About ten minutes later, the entire courtyard appeared quiet.
Only then did Sheng Shi return to the bedroom, picked up the landline phone, and dialed a number. It was to his secretary: "How is it? Is everything arranged on her end?"
"It's arranged. I'll take her to the airport later. She still doesn't know the specifics, Mr. Sheng. Should you tell her later, or should I tell her now?"
"I'll tell her when I meet her later."
"Okay, Mr. Sheng, shall we set off now?"
"Yes, set off. I'll leave now as well. See you at the airport."
