Sheng Shi looked at Gu Lanshan. The sky outside was unbelievably blue with the approaching early summer, and the sunshine was overwhelmingly bright. Yet, Sheng Shi felt a slight sense of insatiable greed in his heart.
Sheng Shi raised his hand, gently touched Gu Lanshan's face, looking at the visage he had met since they were 11, and watched grow into such a beautiful face. He slowly closed his eyes, and in his mind, he could picture a three-dimensional outline of her growth.
While Sheng Shi waited for Gu Lanshan to wake up, his brows were tightly furrowed. He wasn't particularly fond of smoking, but when he was in a bad mood, he liked to smoke, enjoying the spicy sensation of nicotine in his throat, which could alleviate the soft, delicate pain in his left chest.
But when he felt his pocket, he remembered that ever since he was with Gu Lanshan, he no longer needed cigarettes to numb his nerves.
